One of my coffee shops of choice when I'm downtown. Super consistent with the quality of their drinks! On occasion, the five spice latte does feel more gingery than other times, but it doesn't impact the taste in my opinion. Drinks aside, I recommend their breakfast sandwiches as well :)
I had some time to burn and have been walking by this location from Wheeler Mission for a long time. I came in and ordered a 12oz. Mocha, the Cheapskate, and some Pepper Jelly for about $12. Unfortunately, they didn't have all of the ingredients to make the breakfast sausage (out of pimento cheese), but the substitute they gave me was still very good. One of the BEST coffee shops I’ve ever been to (like around the world) for real! I’ve had their honey vanilla latte at least 15+ times and it’s always perfect, both hot or cold. I love their fun drinks too - Brazilian limeade, espresso tonics, etc. Baristas are also SO sooooo kind and friendly and happy. Breakfast sandwiches with different kinds of sauces (I especially love the zhoug mayo) are also great. It’s so hard to get coffee anywhere else! Pls bring back the Midwest...
