Food was very bland, seemed like there was no flavor other than the sauces that came on the sushi. Granted, we did order at 630ish Thanksgiving day, so that could be part of the issue but they were open and the place was completely empty. For $40, we didn't seem to get the food we were expecting. Overall very average, not the 4.5 stars it has.
This is a great family run restaurant. We go here almost weekly because of both their wonderful customer service and high quality food. For affordable, good sushi and hibachi between Lawrence and Geist areas this is the only place I would recommend, and it is a strong recommendation. They also do carry out, no matter the order size I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes for pick up.
