Really just disappointed with the portion that you receive when paying almost 20 for a bowl. My gumbo was enough to fill a heaping tablespoon with 5.5 oz. of rice under it. Tbh the sausage and chicken in it was not good and not a lot of gumbo flavor.

I ordered via Uber Eats. Was my first time trying this place. EVERYTHING was soo damn good. Those salmon bites (not dry, not greasy, moist, flavorful but not over seasoned, and not fried in a ton of batter) were the best I’ve ever had. I don’t eat beef and pork and they have a TON of turkey options, such as the turkey dirty rice I ordered that was amazing. I also had the creole green beans and sweet potato mash—stand outs all on their own as well. I had to call the restaurant and tell the manager just how much my palate was satisfied. Give this place a try. I’m a foodie and wouldn’t steer you wrong!

My wife ordered the gumbo greens with the expectation of some similarities of gumbo, no the collard greens was very bland with 75% of rice served under the bottom no okra, tomatoes, no spices , no sausage, just a lot of rice,little collard greens with 2 small cut cubes of white chicken and what appears to be some kind of white bland kind of gravy, really. Than I ordered the oxtail and so called turkey oxtail, well when I received my order they gave me two serving of oxtail, so they finally took back a serving of the oxtail and gave me the turkey tail which tasted like turkey necks, to rectify there mistake they gave me a 5 dollars credit, but I paid 85 dollars for that crap, they only give you 2 oxtail but it cost $35.00 for the meal, and least the name fits the place, trap yes they got that right, I expected more for my money. Oh well this is one place we’ll never return to, and please someone any one give this restaurant the recipe to a real gumbo greens soup!.

Inconsiderate. Told us our food would be ready in a sec we wait 25 mini just for them to say oh we actually out of 80% off the order. Would have been useful info prior to ordering. Not professional. Very cliche and status quote energy here. Don’t recommend. Food not even worth the wait when they are available. All spice and no flavor

First off, the energy and vibe in this establishment is on hit. The staff are friendly and overjoyed by serving some of the best jerk in Indianapolis. The jerk Salomon is everything. The sauces are killing. Love this spot and they are open 7 days a week to take care of all of your indulgences.

I tried the bbq dinner with two sides which were great, but the rib tips I was a little disappointed in because they add bones with literally no meat on them at all, which was my first time ordering it, and I think the meat should be a little more meaty, the sides were great, which were the cajun bake beans and a small cabbage. I hate to compare but King Ribs gives plenty of meat. I will order again but never the ribs.
