Terrible customer service. Thoughtless, mean spirited, foul mouthed. Why you would ever want to deal with this establishment is beyond me.
NEW NAME NEW ME!
Turchetti’s is now WILDFYRE TAP
Controversial opinion; the fries are better now tbh.
Super appreciate the actual QUALITY gluten free bun sub. The owners care about making their food accessible to many people, not just carnivores with an iron stomach. Fyre is open late, which gives us second and third shifters a beautiful and delicious option for food during /after our shifts. It’s also just great to be able to get a dab down the street and walk down here and be able to smash food without any sense of shame around the fact that I’m stoned af and about to literally inhale these fries.
The space is much bigger now, as the new owners have remodeled/removed several walls in the front of the shop to create additional seating. A nice high bar in front of a sunny window sounds like workspace heaven at 11am.
They plan to do tons of events, as the space is fricken huge. All around very excited for the future of this space and ftsq!
Also maybe I’m biased but the staff is just super sweet and helpful! Please pop in!

Really not good enough to cost $18 out the door.
It did hit the spot but it's too dry and the bun looks like something from Meijer.
EDIT: It's dry because it's overcooked. If you need mayo and mustard to keep it from being dry you might be at a dairy queen. Also what kind of "butcher shop" chargers a 20% service fee.

Wow. Wife’s burger looked really good, then mine came out with a perfect fried egg on top! Tasted even better than it looked.

BEST RESTAURANT IN INDIANAPOLIS, honestly probably in the entire state, midwest, this side of the Mississippi. Anyway, my husband and I lived in Indianapolis for 2 years and had the absolute pleasure of dining here at least once if not several times a week. The food, staff, the vibes, are all amazing. Choosing what to eat is the most difficult part because it’s all so good. The beer, wine, and drink selections are also *chefs kiss*. They also have a beautiful market of groceries and of course, meats. If you’re in the area and don’t go here, your trip to Indianapolis is all for naught.

Spent almost 10 minutes at the bar while the two bro-tenders behind it debated if I was a ghost. Bros are supposed to have each other’s backs, but these dudes totally ghosted me. Don’t be sorry, be better!

The pastrami on rye blew this New Yorker's mind away. This is on par with the sandwiches out here. The fries are worthy of some praise as well. Keep it up guys, well done!

Turchetti’s is very mid butcher shop (edit: with petty owners who like to bully people who post negative reviews) tbh; the bar and sandwiches are decent; and the staff is kinda strange. For good meat, the family owned & operated German butcher shop on Shelby St. is much much better (and cheaper).
Edit: what kind of thin skinned business owner can’t accept an honest & frank review? My staff experience was strange bc my butcher looked like a bartender and didnt know how to package my meat. Just sorta balled it all up and threw it in the wrapper.
Lowering my 3-stars to 1-star now bc of the owner’s response.
PS - nahh I know who the owners are and what they look like. This wasn’t either of you. Maybe you should put the phone down and train your staff a little bit better. It’s truly hilarious how hard you’re trying to bully me for a negative review. I’m sorry you’re having a hard time accepting that your store might be lackluster and not universally beloved? Good news for you is that there’s plenty of room for improvement. Lmao I just checked out the other 1-star reviews. I’m guessing you, the person who likes arguing with strangers online, were the “loud male owner belittling the female employee” that caused the other customer to have an uncomfortable experience and leave you 1-star. Seek help, man!
