Umi Sushi & Seafood Buffet

All-you-can-eat buffet? More like all-you-can-regret-nothing buffet. And yes—I made sure to eat my body weight in crab legs. If there’s ever a loyalty program for sheer determination, I should be platinum by now.

The spread is insane: sushi, sashimi, hot pot, crab legs, shrimp, mussels, boba tea, salads, dim sum, kimchi, ramen—the kind of lineup that makes you feel like you’re on a culinary world tour without ever leaving your chair. At $30, it’s a deal that borders on robbery, but in reverse—you’re robbing them.

Sure, the dessert section was tragic. A few lonely jellos, some cake, a scoop of ice cream if you’re lucky. But honestly, who cares? The real prize here is the endless stream of authentic Asian comfort food and, let’s be real, the crab legs.

Final verdict: five stars. Come hungry, leave victorious, and maybe bring stretchy pants—you’ll need them.

Had a lunch buffet and ramen. Almost everything I at least enjoyed. The pork belly and ramen were both excellent. The server was attentive and helpful. Next time, I'm getting the hot pot.

Can't beat the price for all that is available, including hibachi and ramen 😋. Food tastes great. The quality is good and the staff were great too.

Went back with family and they were blown away by the spread. Definitely recommend it!

Nice seafood selection

Well worth the money

We went for a lunch buffet. Paid $20. It was alright, the sushi looked fresh. They do have hot pot but whatever gas they use to keep the flame going smells horrible. Lost my appetite from the family using it 4 tables away from us, made us lightheaded from the fumes. They did keep everything stocked, the staff was nice, & the restroom was clean which is always a good sign. I might come back and try it again at some point.

I love Umi!! My favorite buffet!! The sushi is so great and fresh!! It's such a special treat! Love the variety of foods and desserts!! The ramen station and the hot pot option is very cool,the atmosphere is fun and the cute little arcade! The unlimited bubble tea is a dream come true! I always look forward to eating here when I have the chance.

First of all, congratulations on their 1st anniversary! They currently have November special to give back to their customers which they adjusted their prices. Actually I don't think their previous prices has any problems. People around me all think their prices are worth it. But the current special price is really worth it! One price includes everything! to be honest I don't understand some of the bad reviews. For example, why you only wanna to spend $1 to buy something worth $100? Why not consider the cost effectiveness? If you are willing to spend more then of course different. For me Umi is really worth it.Even sometimes I also meet unfriendly server but if server cannot solve or understand my questions I will ask for manager or someone else to help me. It's best buffet in Indiana! We come here almost every week! We always come Umi when we have any parties!!! I'm big fan of Umi?

At least the food was fine. The server is really rude she took care of another table a bunch of time but not even one time just stop by and ask us “are you okay ?” “you need something else?” NOT EVEN A WORD, NOT EVEN A SMILE by the time the other the server is so nice. Even the manager or maybe a receptionist, she didn’t want to find out what problem with us when we said everything is just okay she kinda ignored that and just let us pay. It’s like an asian restaurant but kinda racist asian which just i don’t know why they do that, not understandable.

very bad experience here. they discriminated against us as asians, we paid to be served, they treated us like invisible people, they didn't ask us how everything was until the end, they ignored us to serve other customers, stay away from this place, be aware that any leftovers you have will be rearranged on the display area for the next person to pick it up, horrible, so bad, when we paid and left, won't be back

This place wasn’t what , I expected the Crab Legs were very small and no cracklings things for them . I asked our waiter for some and never got them. The food wasn’t very good either won’t be coming back either . I’ll go to Decatur on Friday Nights for All You Can Eat Crab Legs . Bigger Crab legs for what you pay for . Plus it’s all you can eat buffet too this place sucks I was very disappointed ? Wen’t on November 1, 2024 And I won’t go back to this place .
