We love the fact that burger preparations can be done with black bean patties and with bison. Salad dressings are especially good, and menu choices are extensive. Parking is easy, and the location is very convenient.

I want to start with food is great beer is even better we typically love it here. Our situation was handled by the manager who did want to make things right but we did not get a new server which was all we wanted.I do want to leave a review on our experience with our server just for others to be aware and as a reminder that being kind goes such a long way. We had a rough day yesterday with a loved one in the hospital and quite honestly I needed a beer so wasn't prepared to deal with such behavior. It started with our beers were brought out and our server either didn't know or maybe someone else brought them over so when she came to the table with 2 more she was very angry we already had ours like oddly angry so my husband tried to make light of the situation and said hey you could have left em will be ordering another anyway and that was returned with a very rude response. We ordered our food we had our kids with us and normally they order on their own but this time since we were all kind of splitting food my husband ordered she rudely shut him up with they are independent ladies sir. So we're off to bad start my husband goes to the bathroom on his way back he sees on the board of beers at the bar there were 2 ipa's listed that weren't on the regular menu. Knowing I like ipa's he asks for samples to bring me they offer to also get him a beer he says no we have a table just wanted to let my wife try these mind you samples are free no money transaction happened at the bar. When our server saw the samples she yelled at us to only order through her thats how she pays her mortgage we tried to explain they were samples but she stormed off. So I'm sitting there on one of my worst days just in shock. Manager was lovely she did offer to take our beer off we declined because their was no problem with food or beer we did however want a new server and our same server returned to the table with an even worse attitude. The manager did apologize that she did not get the part we wanted a new server. I will come back but will walk right back out of the door if that server is working. I have never experienced being yelled at for ordering something free before.

Tasty sandwich made with seitan, chow chow, red onion & pickle chips on a toasted vegan bun. Your choice of fries or chips as a side. The sandwich is a little dry, would be nice to have Vegan mayo. Very limited Vegan options and no Vegan desserts. Lots of adult beverages available.

We had a very large, complicated group on a Thursday, arriving at different times, etc. etc. Great food, fabulous service and a wonderful time. Lyric did a wonderful job dealing with all we handed her with our friends and family. Thank you!

We stumbled onto this place while in town for the state swim meet. The host made our experience unforgettable. The food came out hot and fresh. The burger patty for thick and juicy. My wife was amazed because it well done and wasn't burnt. Cheers!

Great place for a group meal before going out to a club or show. The poutine was fantastic.

The service was perfect. The noise level made it difficult to hear the other person. Her watermelon margarita wasn't a favorite, but we both enjoyed my Petal to the Kettle. That was delicious! The burger with plum sauce was phenomenal and cooked just as I'd ordered it (medium rare). My side of kettle chips came warm but too salty. Will have to come back!

This Upland outpost stands out with an impressive beer selection, spanning easy-drinking lagers to rich, high-ABV brews. The menu offers straightforward but satisfying pub fare, while multiple screens make it a prime spot for catching the game. Bonus points for the outdoor gear and bike-themed apparel. Ample seating indoors and a lively patio round out the experience.

Large fun place. Music inside was very loud.

Actually the worst service I’ve had in a long time. Came here on a busy Saturday night, and was quoted for an hour wait for a table (not an issue you’re busy). After waiting an hour we went to check in with the host at the point she told us she had been told to stop seating tables for the night until told otherwise because the kitchen was so backed up. We left and decided to come back another night where we were at promptly (they were not busy) and then waited 20 minutes for a server to come check on us. We eventually just went to the bar to order.

The beers good be wary of the service. Probably will not try back here a third time.

I want to preface this with saying I just moved to Indianapolis from Bloomington and I was looking forward to bringing my family to this restaurant.
Upon arrival we were told they had a 35 minute wait. I had no issue with that and we were actually seated a bit quicker. We sat for 15 minutes until our server arrived (one family member said hello to her as she walked by us on earlier occasions and was ignored) . She took our drink order and returned with two of the 3 drinks. Okay I will wait for my beer. While we began ordering a Cuban….we were told that they were out of the pulled pork. So the others ordered a burger. Me? Still without my drink stated that I was fine and I would continue to look over their menu. Soon a manager arrived at our table. Now this was not a feeling of ā€œhey, I’m sorryā€ but something else. It was weird. She started the conversation with I hear we (our table) have an issue, and said it was ā€œtrueā€ they were sold out of pulled pork. No one ever questioned that. I explained that I have been to upland for years and then finally I noticed (30 minutes after being seated) that I still didn’t have my beer and she went to get it at the bar. About 5 minutes later she returns. While she was away, everyone at the table discussed the odd interaction and why she acted how she was (borderline condescending). Given how nothing was said at the time or ordering and a manager showing up the way she did and acting we decided we would just pay for the order and leave. So when the manager returned we disclosed we would just pay and leave bc we didn’t know how our food would be handled after all this. Oddly, she didn’t really disagree with that assumption. In the end she didn’t have us pay and offered $5 wooden nickel which we refused as well. She invited us back. We will unlikely return to this location. It was just so odd. I can’t even express how awkwardly we were treated. We walked across the street and enjoyed a meal at another restaurant.
