This Upland outpost stands out with an impressive beer selection, spanning easy-drinking lagers to rich, high-ABV brews. The menu offers straightforward but satisfying pub fare, while multiple screens make it a prime spot for catching the game. Bonus points for the outdoor gear and bike-themed apparel. Ample seating indoors and a lively patio round out the experience.
Large fun place. Music inside was very loud.
Actually the worst service I’ve had in a long time. Came here on a busy Saturday night, and was quoted for an hour wait for a table (not an issue you’re busy). After waiting an hour we went to check in with the host at the point she told us she had been told to stop seating tables for the night until told otherwise because the kitchen was so backed up. We left and decided to come back another night where we were at promptly (they were not busy) and then waited 20 minutes for a server to come check on us. We eventually just went to the bar to order.
The beers good be wary of the service. Probably will not try back here a third time.
I want to preface this with saying I just moved to Indianapolis from Bloomington and I was looking forward to bringing my family to this restaurant.
Upon arrival we were told they had a 35 minute wait. I had no issue with that and we were actually seated a bit quicker. We sat for 15 minutes until our server arrived (one family member said hello to her as she walked by us on earlier occasions and was ignored) . She took our drink order and returned with two of the 3 drinks. Okay I will wait for my beer. While we began ordering a Cuban….we were told that they were out of the pulled pork. So the others ordered a burger. Me? Still without my drink stated that I was fine and I would continue to look over their menu. Soon a manager arrived at our table. Now this was not a feeling of “hey, I’m sorry” but something else. It was weird. She started the conversation with I hear we (our table) have an issue, and said it was “true” they were sold out of pulled pork. No one ever questioned that. I explained that I have been to upland for years and then finally I noticed (30 minutes after being seated) that I still didn’t have my beer and she went to get it at the bar. About 5 minutes later she returns. While she was away, everyone at the table discussed the odd interaction and why she acted how she was (borderline condescending). Given how nothing was said at the time or ordering and a manager showing up the way she did and acting we decided we would just pay for the order and leave. So when the manager returned we disclosed we would just pay and leave bc we didn’t know how our food would be handled after all this. Oddly, she didn’t really disagree with that assumption. In the end she didn’t have us pay and offered $5 wooden nickel which we refused as well. She invited us back. We will unlikely return to this location. It was just so odd. I can’t even express how awkwardly we were treated. We walked across the street and enjoyed a meal at another restaurant.
Rachel was fantastic, excellent service and extremely professional. Will be back
Been there with a group of friends! The beer selection was impressive, with a range of unique brews, including the Champagne Velvet pitcher, which was a standout.
We arrived on a Sunday night in late April around 830 pm. The food was enjoyable and tasty, as was the beer. I had the tenderloin sandwich and the Courtside Pale Ale and the Dragonfly IPA. The service looked like a Bar Rescue episode. We walked in, the hostess wouldn't even make eye contact with us and waited for us to flag her down to seat us. She still didn't even talk to us, we told her we had 4, and she grabbed menus and just started walking. We thanked her after being seated, still no words or eye contact. Our server, Rachel, started serving us and was noticeably tipsy already. Stumbling on the gravel and tripping over her words and thoughts as well. She started talking about how she was thankful she only had 3 tables now and that she had 6 a previous hour and that was borderline unmanageable for her, according to her. She informed us that the bartender was newer and she was not enthused by him. Both rounds of beer, we watched this newer bartender pour the beers, set them out for service, and then they took 10 and 15 minutes, respectively, to make their way to our table. No head left and already warming. Side note, one of us ordered a Vienna Lager and it had a prominent raspberry note? Pretty darn sure that was not the right pour unless large amounts of Barbe Rouge hops were used. Rachel would then disappear for long periods at a time; we assumed to drink a little but who knows? Once our food came out, we enjoyed it, but one of the orders (smoked pork poutine) was missing ingredients listed on the menu without explanation. No silverware or napkins were brought with the food. Rachel stopped by over 20 minutes later and my friend who needed silverware finally got to request some and the missing ingredients; silverware showed up about 10 minutes later and Rachel was basically drunk at this point. Not sure how many staff were working, but I highly doubt a manager was present (if so, they didn't care what was happening) and definitely not enough functional staff for the business they had (the space was well under a quarter full, so not busy by any means in my mind). Missing ingredients were requested again and showed up another 10 minutes later. At this point, my friend's food was cold so we requested a box and asked for the check. Both of those things actually came out in a timely manner. By the end, the comedy of errors was entertaining but also perplexing to us as we all work in alcohol or hospitality and couldn't understand how this was allowed.
TL;DR: food was good to great overall but incomplete; beer was good to really tasty but probably not what we ordered for one of them; service was a sketch comedy skit at best and a certifiable drunk mess at worst. We didn't feel like asking for corrections to all of our issues because we didn't think our server was coherent enough to fulfill them. We couldn't tell if other staff were drinking on shift but Rachel certainly was. I hope this was an off day for them. Pretty good atmosphere, at least. I'm not a local but I'm in town for several days and we won't be going back.
Great service either way nice stafff
Food was great. Our server was awesome!!. However, 1 of the bartenders had the worst attitude. Asked for 2 watermelon, spices margaritas and asked that 1 not be spicy and got the eye roll and she walked away before I could even finish ordering our other 2 cocktails. She was gone for 5 minutes!. She kept going on circles around the bar a finally finished the 1st 2 drinks and then it took another 5 minutes for a simple draft beer and regular Ole margarita. 15 minutes to get 3 mixed drinks and a draft beer plus a piss poor attitude. She shouldn't be in that position if she can't handle more than 3 mixed drinks and a simple draft beer. 15 minutes!!. Seriously, I clocked it! And bad attitude. I knew she was struggling with the simple, every day drinks from their own drink menu so tried to lighten up the situation but just got another eye roll and rude ass look. Piss poor bartender who shouldn't be there. Other than that, all the rest of the staff and servers were very professional, polite, and food was great.
Beer was ok, but the service is atrocious.

Beautiful place with great beers, but the bartenders are crazy rude and ruined the whole experience.
Rhyana was such a personable and hospitable server! She offered me coffee because I said I was tired and would have a beer but had to do a presentation later in the evening. Her small, kind gesture made my day!
Fun place to hang and have a beer. Lots of natural light to keep the environment bright and airy, and plenty of beers to choose from. Staff were friendly too
Great place, dragonfly iPA is excellent and their beer Cheese burger is one of the best! Also have in-house chips that are wonderful. Great atmosphere. Will definitely come back!
Sat my with my family for 15 minutes and no one came to the table. 😢
