I tried to go last night. Setup a reservation (party of 6) through the upland website, which uses OpenTable. When we arrived, we were met by a frazzled hostess(?) that indicated it would be over an hour before we could be seated. There were open tables everywhere. When we indicated that we had a reservation, she indicated she'd have to get her manager. We waited in the lobby seating area for 10-15 more mins and never saw her or anyone come back. Ultimately we left and ate somewhere else. Reviews for this place seem pretty good, but after this weird experience, I won't be coming back to try it.

Just went there for devour however we realized we were charged regular prices not the devour menu prices that we ordered. Food was great but service was poor. We were served a mojito without mint, it was pure liquor and ice. The server said that she knew if wasn't made right but waited until we said something. Overall the food was good but unfortunate service.

Upland Brewing Company is based in Bloomington, Indiana but they have expanded with 4 restaurants in the Indianapolis area and 1 in Columbus, IN. My family and I had stopped at the 82nd Street location in Indianapolis for dinner. They have more than a dozen of their beers on tap, including the year-round Dragonfly IPA and Wheat Ale, but they also have seasonal selections and a handful of sours.

For dinner, I enjoyed the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with Broad Ripple chips ($15). The giant piece of fried chicken was topped with blue cheese slaw and horseradish pickles on a toasted brioche bun. This was a really good sandwich, not overly spicy, but with a subtle heat that I enjoyed thoroughly.

My wife noticed that any of their burgers can be subbed for grilled or fried chicken, black-bean patty, local bison, or impossible meat. She had the Bad Elmer's Fav with fried chicken, sharp cheddar, applewood bacon, Bad Elmer's Porter BBQ, lettuce, tomato, and onion along with a side of brewery fries ($16.50). This was an enormous plate of food! I think the Nashville hot was the better choice, but still, this was really tasty.

Our kids enjoyed their selections from the kids menu. Our service was wonderful and the meal was pretty quick for a Friday evening. We would definitely return when back in Indianapolis.

When I visited this Upland location, I had the pleasure to be waited on by one of the servers, Grace. She was exceptionally attentive and ensured that my dining experience was top-notch. Grace’s friendly demeanor and thorough knowledge of the menu made it easy to choose dishes that perfectly suited my tastes. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt and professional. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a great dining experience. Grace's excellent service truly made my visit memorable, and I look forward to returning soon.

The food was good, but the menu was confusing for someone that is looking for the vegan options. The in person menu labels them V or VEG without saying which one is which. To make things more confusing some burgers with bacon are labeled VEG, but they don't say like.. seitan bacon. Other burgers with bacon are not labeled VEG. One item on the in person menu says it has a vegan bun and is labeled VEG. Some items with cheese are labeled VEG such as the pretzel. Other items with cheese are labeled V on the in person menu... but none of them say vegan cheese. So ?‍♂️just go with the seitan options if you're looking for vegan food. They're pretty good.

Our server was nice, but only 20 yo, so unable to offer much info about their beers, not even about much of the food. Nice young man, though. We had the inferno burger and the pig n fig pork burger. The inferno sauce was all heat, no real flavor, and not that hot really. The fries and slaw needed some seasoning, so we're ok, but not great. The pork sandwich was pretty good, but also could have more flavor, sauce. Nice patio area. Pretty good beer options. Would try again with different food choices.

We were in town for a sports tournament and needed a place for a decent sized group. The food and beer were both great - everyone was happy. I loved the spinach dip - slightly healthier/less cheesy version that the traditional, which was nice. The Margherita pizza a was decent but the balsamic a was heavy, and I was hoping for fresh basil vs. pesto. Burgers were a hit. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Book in advance for a big group if you can! We'll be back.
