Good food. Good service.

I don’t say this lightly—Savanah is hands down the best server I’ve ever had at Upland Brewing Co. From the moment she greeted us, she was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. What stood out the most was how genuine she was. We ended up having an in-depth conversation, and it never felt rushed or forced—she truly listened, engaged, and made us feel like more than just another table.

She has a natural way of making you feel like you’re talking to a friend rather than just being served. It’s rare to come across someone who not only provides great service but also creates such a comfortable, personal experience.

Upland is lucky to have her. If you’re visiting, ask for Savanah—you won’t regret it.

Read the real reviews. Service was horrible. Had to ask our waiter about our drinks, finally brought them, no refills even though we asked. Food was mediocre at best. Didn’t have beer cheese. Table behind me wanted a specific dressing on your menu, didn’t have that either. Manager of this place should be fired, retrained or better yet just close this location. OVERRATED

I never left a review for a place before and I have been to upland before in fountain square and me and my husband have NEVER been treated this way. We understood there were only two servers and at most 7 tops today and we all had outside seating. We got seated outside and waited 15-20min for our server to come and greet us or give us water and but NO ONE EVER CAME. A larger family came and the main server who were serving IMMEDIATELY greeted them and brought them water while ignoring us. She worked the tables around us the entire time without so much as acknowledging that she will be there as soon as she could like the larger family table to us . This by far was the WORST experience we both had. I went inside and advise the hostess about this and me and my husband left and went to district tap instead where ironically they too only had 2 services and 6 tables including ourselves here and got IMMEDIATE service and water.

My wife had mac and cheese, and it was good. I ordered the beer cheese burger medium, and it was anything but medium. Waited the entire meal for a replacement, they only knocked 1/2 off, still waited. Brought a replacement out 40mins later still we'll done 40+ for some Cole slaw and mac and cheese.

First time at this location. Food was the same as others. Good but not great unfortunately. I do feel the menu is more limited than similar establishments. The real issue on this visit was the service. The restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived but as the hostess/waitress told us (multiple times) they had a large private party for a young girls' sports team. Upon being seated we waited quite a while, probably 10 min, for the hostess/waitress to come around and take our drink order. The table next to us got water without asking and waiter took their order before we were offered anything. She brought the food and drinks in a reasonable amount of time thankfully but never came back around to check on us or offer drink refills. A good 30 min after we had finished our meals we commented we could probably just walk out and no one would notice. Another 10 min or so passed before I returned to the hostess station and requested 2 checks for our party. She came around quickly with the portable card reader to cash us out but we realized quickly she had charged the entire bill to my card. My fault for not paying attention I suppose but pretty on brand for this experience unfortunately. Waitress was nice enough but we generally felt pretty neglected. I will assume this was just a bad night and would go again but prefer some of the other options nearby.

Delicious food! Definitely worth checking out, even if you don’t drink. They have a wide selection for drinks and some seasonal rotation. The menu is limited, but everything on there is great. Also the music they play is 👍🏼👍🏼

Great food & Sheila was an amazing server. But we’re in the Midwest & I need ranch !!

Came in for a flight of sours which were good, but completely blown away by the smoked wings. The chili BBQ sauce had a slight kick and the wings had a great smoke flavor. Best wings I've had in a while. Also, the pickled vegetables on the side were a nice compliment not often seen any more!

There was one server who was also tasked with seating customers at 11:30 on a Sunday. They were doing their best.

Bloody Mary was closer to a canned V8 than anything I've ever had. The grits my wife ordered were drowning in a greasy soup of salsa. My egg sandwich had one slice of unmelted cheese and was slathered in odd toppings that overpowered the whole thing. Both meals also came out within 5 minutes and we have our suspicions it was actually fresh food and not reheated. Definitely not returning.

Overall the food was tasty. But none of us thought our food was hot enough.

The Upland Brewing on 82nd Street has no Heating. Had dinner there last night and it was FREEZING. Had to have my jacket on the entire time. Also i ordered a cheeseburger which was also cold and the cheese wasn't melted because it was so cold. When i asked the staff if they could turn up the heat, they said that the owners were aware that there is no Heat in the building and haven't fixed this. I will be following up to see if this is a board of health complaint as well.
