This intimate eatery blends upscale vibes with a comfortable atmosphere.Service shines, with attentive staff offering spot-on recommendations. The calamari appetizer is well-executed, but nothing groundbreaking. The chicken is cooked perfectly, though the accompanying sauce may not please every palate. The star of the show? A delicious (and likely seasonal) lamb ragu pasta.Overall, a worthwhile date night destination.

The decor in the restaurant had dark wood with royal blue and gold chairs and also lime green and gold. The decor and vibe was like eating at a bistro in New York. The food and price. The price didn't match the portions . To me it was like a deconstructed dish they had all the ingredients in the bowl but in order for it to all come together you had to mix it up. Most places give bread and oil Not here they Charge 10.00 for the smallest amount of oil and olives. The service was okay. For where they stand your glass should never be empty. If you make reservations don't show earlier than the time because they jokingly give you a hard time about it. The little guy in the front was a little unfriendly.

I believe the food has potential to be very good. The meatballs were flavorful but very dry as well as the spaghetti. The spicy marinara again was flavorful but was so overwhelmingly spicy it took away from the dish. The carbonara had fresh peas and well cooked bucatini, but the truffle oil totally took over and I couldn’t taste any of the goodness of the egg, peas, bacon, or cheese. Would have been delightful- I beg of the chef to omit the truffle oil. Watch any cooking show and realize that truffle oil is the flavor killer! Let the ingredients speak for themselves. Would try again, in person, but reluctantly.

Vongole E Vino was a perfect starter, great flavor, and presentation. For the main dish, Osso Buco, with mushrooms and pea risotto, did not disappoint. Music was on an enjoyable volume, a speakeasy place. Lighting, service, and facilities on point. This place it's being run from somebody who cares about their clientele experience. Definitely will come back.!

Vicino is right in the heart of Mass Ave - usually packed, but open and airy with a lot of seats. Their cocktails are amazing and their Italian menu is pretty unique. Heavily recommend making a reservation online. The menu reads like small plate dining but everything we got was more than filling. The cocktails are teeny tiny but very high quality liquor and creativity. Italian food isn't necessarily the most difficult cuisine, but it feels like they made it unnecessarily hard. The oven-roasted oysters were amazing but the bruschetta was begging for more tomatoes. The spaghetti was almost overly spicy with big thick meatballs. The lamb ragu was slow roasted and full of savory flavors! I loved the vibe. Food was 4/5 stars. Definitely a cool place for a night on the town though!

Came on V-Day and they were rather busy, but that did not stop them from delivering amazing food and service. Our server was upbeat and attentive. Told us about the 1/2 price bottle Wednesday wine deal...that they still honored even on V-day. We sat in the bar area. Nice lighting. Low volume music. We ordered the lamb shank and spaghetti and meatballs (and a nice bottle of wine). 10/10 would order both again.

Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, but the service could have been better. They did get us out in time to see our movie though... But after us asking several times for boxes and our check. Devour menu was only 25 dollars each but then the drinks and bread was about the same amount lol. Everything tasted amazing tho!

me and my bf split 2 entrees and it seemed like the waiter was a little annoyed by the fact we weren’t ordering more. the waiter told us about the menu and stressed that everything is made super fresh, yet when i asked for my pasta carbonara without peas he said it’s a premade batch and couldn’t take them out. even the cheesecake factory takes out the peas in their pasta carbonara when i request. while the food did taste good/fresh, i would have had a better experience if they took out what i requested. overall, average restaurant and very new/modern atmosphere that i loved but wouldn’t go back

Came here for dessert on a Sunday evening. Quickly seated and greeted. I ordered the limoncello berry bar and also tried the tiramisu. The tiramisu was tasty. The bar was not good at all. The bar had so much gelatin in it that you could make it bounce. It was almost as if it was frozen and didn't thaw properly It was also worth noting that two desserts and a coffee was almost the same price as dinner at another nicer restaurant along Mass Ave. Probably won't be coming back.

We went here for Valentine's Day' and it was great! The restaurant has a cool atmosphere and excellent service. Highly recommend Jess as a waitress. We started off with the bruschetta and it was so good! I had the lamb ragu and my fiancé had the wood oven chicken. Both were amazing!! We finished off with the tiramisu and it was great as well! We will definitely be coming back!

Celebrated my husband's birthday and the food was fantastic! We had the bruschetta, the zuppa tuscana soup and he got a caesar salad while i had the caprese salad. We then split a pizza with pancetta and sausage. Everything was delicious and very well flavored. Absolutely loved the bruschetta & soup!!! My in-laws had the chicken marsala and they stated it was wonderful. We ended dinner with tiramisu, which was nice. The only complaint was that our waitress was either stressed, in a hurry or something, as she was very abrupt at times and would walk away before we finished talking to her. Otherwise, a wonderful dining experience.

I was honestly disappointed in Vicino. For the price range and the local right on Mass Ave, the food was just...average. I'm not sure if the Caesar dressing on the salad was missing anchovies or garlic but it lacked flavor. The Pesto Chicken, while the sun-dried tomatoes tried to add a bit of extra something to the dish, really fell short. The Cannoli also fell apart a bit too quickly when you held them.
