One of the best restaurants I have been to if you are on the fence about going you need to go it's phenomenal. The tempeh and bebek madura were out of this world

It may sound odd, but I was so happy that the food presentation actually matched the pictures!

We went here for a Friday dinner. The parking lot was packed because of the restaurant next door, but we found a spot and went inside. This being my first time trying Indonesian food, I wasn't really sure what to expect since my only experiences with it were on YouTube videos. We ordered the Duck, Red Snapper, Lumpia, Bala - Bala, a Mango Latte, and Ube pancake for desert.

Since Indonesian food is complex to prepare, I expected to be here for a couple of hours. I was flabbergasted at how quickly the food actually came out! Everything was awesome. The the complex flavors, the homemade toppings on the rice, the small seasoning dishes; you could tell a lot of effort wen into preparing our food, and the presentation was immaculate.

I'm not sure where to begin about the food since it was all so good. What I will say, is you absolutely have to have the Ube Pancake (Ube Martabak Manis). It blew our minds!

I absolutely recommend this place, and we will be going back!

We have been following them before they even open the restaurant. Truly happy to see they get so much love from everyone. The food quality as well as services are excellent. We really appreciate you guys working hard to open this place so we can visit often. We missed the food and finally have a taste of it today and the food is still amazing as alway. Excellent food and flavors! Happy to find delicious Indonesian in Indy. Loved the beef rendang, martabak, es cendol, and ube cheese pancakes. Check out the bodega on the side for snacks and sambal to take home. Can’t wait to be back!

We really enjoyed our time here. Besides the delicious food, the service was also excellent. The owner and staff were very friendly. As someone who grew up in Indonesia, I can say that despite the limited availability of spices and herbs in the U.S., this restaurant has done an amazing job of serving dishes that are very close — if not identical — to the authentic flavors of Indonesia.

Wisanggeni Pawon is a long time favorite for me here in Indianapolis. The food and drink is excellent and really something you can't find elsewhere in the Midwest. Furthermore the owner Agi and his wife are some of the kindest people and are extremely welcoming. The love and creativity they put into their food and restaurant is evident. Everybody in Indianapolis should try Wisanggeni Pawon at least once.

This place is a wonderful reminder of Indonesian food and culture. The service was excellent, and the chef was very friendly with the customers. I’m glad I found a spot like this so close to my hotel. I will definitely be back when I get a chance to visit Indianapolis again.

Incredible food and incredible people. Found this place after my friend saw it on Google, travelled two hours to Indi so we could try out Indonesian food. I am so, so happy that we found this place, the food is some of the best I’ve had and the owners were super friendly. I’m 1000% coming back as soon as I’m back in Indiana.

One of the best restaurants in Indianapolis! Most of their dishes are really good in taste and they had a calmed environment. Though the restaurant is not much big but the service is top notch.
