I’ve been meaning to come by for a while as it is a small colorful building just off the Monon—south of Broad Ripple. They had a large variety of very unique flavors. We ordered a scoop of the mango carrot/sorbet and the coconut/chocolate/almond. The carrot/mango sorbet was juicy and refreshing. Good mango flavor and just a hint of carrot sweetness. The coconut was my favorite. I expected it to taste like an almond joy but this was way better. Lots of coconut and a good balance of chocolate and almonds.

What could be more wholesome than riding bikes down the Monon Trail, and then stopping at a local ice cream shop to get a treat? Very few things, that's what. Wyliepalooza is a cool place to visit if you're in the mood for ice cream, milk shakes, sundaes and the like in the SoBro area. They're located directly off the Monon Trail -- just look for the little, bright blue house. This is a ice cream shop where all of the transactions take place at a window. There is no inside seating. But there are a couple of picnic benches and some chairs outside the shop, or you can just sit on a curb, or just take your ice cream to go and keep on moseying down the trail. They have more than a dozen different ice cream flavors, including some non-dairy and vegan flavors. My kids opted for the tried-and-true cookie dough and Ultimate Oreo. We also got the Exhausted Parent flavor, which I thought would taste like tears and wine, but actually tasted like coffee and bourbon (close enough).

Carrot mango Italian ice in a cup. This was yummy. It taste like starburst, in a good way. Not overly sweet. They have other ice cream flavor combos that looked good too. Parking is limited, but this place is easily accessible from the monon trail. It's such a nice treat on a summer afternoon. They have lawn chairs and picnic tables with benches, under a big tree.

This was great! From their website it says this location is owned by the original family and the Irvington location sold to new owners recently. Also the Yelp hours are wrong - check google. But the website says hours change and to always check google. This location is a cute lil blue house and when I was there it was window service only. I got the cookie dough in an waffle cone - it was great! Service was really friendly as well. There's outdoor seating - picnic tables and yard chairs.

It was the perfect day for ice cream at Wyliepalooza! We cooled off with the perfect kid sized scoops and sat in the shade! Thank you!

It was a hot week and my girlfriend and I wanted ice cream to cap off a wonderful Friday evening. That’s when my girlfriend did research and said let’s go somewhere unique so I found this place. When you first pull in you see a small blue shack right by the monon trail. The nice gentleman that greeted us presented super tasty flavors for us to try. Overall, the experience was wonderful and the ice cream even better. This place is truly a diamond in the rough and should definitely be considered if you are an ice cream aficionado.

Nice staff, convenient location. The boba tea was a bit disappointing. They were out of traditional tapioca and it wasn’t clear that the “flavored boba” was a fake jello caviar thing. Looking forward to trying the ice cream for a more fair comparison.
