It was long overdue, but I finally made it out to my cousin's restaurant. I've heard nothing but good things about it & finally got to taste it for myself..& it was deeeeliscious! I'm so glad it was good because I've told a million people to try it even though I hadn't even been there yet myself.. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.. I didn't see Ja'Net Edwards this evening, but I wanna catch her there so I can tell her how proud of her I am.. ?

I order from this place quit often and last night the food was plain horrible ? the plantentines were inedible the chicken and rice were plain off. It will be a while before I order from here again. It's sad because Indianapolis do not have many choices for Jamaican food and to be honest they are mediocre, it they were in South Florida I wouldn't even give this place a second look and quite frankly I don't think they will last in South Florida only for people who really don't know about good quality Jamaican food is where places like this will theive.

The food is yasonice here. Best I've had thus far for traditional Jamaican dishes. Always fresh, hot and taste so good. That festival bake and oxtail meal have me hooked. Their spicy shrimp patties are oh so good. Whomever is in that kitchen cooking, give them a raise cause they keep the customers coming..

Let me tell you! This place had me at Jamaican Patty! It was delightful! I enjoyed the goat and rice and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Tender, flavorful, yummy bite! I also enjoyed a beef patty which had one of the most flavorful beef I've ever had in a patty! The customer service was kind and added charm you can tell she was happy to be there and excited for us to return! The place was full and had plenty of pick up orders. There was seating if you decide to dine it! Overall a winner!

I was excited to try out a new to me Jamaican restaurant. I called ahead(because I've been disappointed more than once) to ensure they still had oxtails available. The girl said yes and so I placed an order to go. She told me it would be ready in 20 mins. I headed over and when I went it the restaurant was busy. It doesn't have a lot of seating. I went to the counter and told her I had a to go order. She let me know they were packaging it up. I saw they had fresh juices so I added on a mango juice. It was flavorful and I knew it would pair well with the oxtails. My order was ready and the to go container was heavy. It was tied up nicely and I was having a hard time smelling the food in my car so I was a little worried. When arrived at home and opened the bag the smell was wafting out and boy was I hungry. The oxtails were tender and came right off the bones. The rice and beans had good flavor. I'm always a sucker for cooked cabbage and I was pleasantly surprised at how many butter beans ended up in my dish. I love them as well. They had soaked up all those wonderful spices from the oxtails as well as the carrots. I think I could just eat a plate of those. I'm am glad I was able to find a second spot for oxtails that is open on Sunday! If you don't want to be charged a fee for using a credit card bring cash!

I eat here about once a week. This place should become a Naptown staple! I've tried all the Jamaican restaurants. Yaso exceeds all of the rest. When it comes to this place, the others do not compare. The service is impeccable! I suggest that you try this place!

Nothing fancy and it has a small dining area.. but man, the chicken is so delicious!! ?I loved the cabbage and wish it wasn’t such a small amount! I liked that the plantains are not too sweet!! It’s my favorite chicken in IN! Ive had jerk chicken in the Caribbean and this is right up there with the best! What are you waiting for if you live or are staying in the Fountain Square area?!! Oh and the rice is delicious too!! We did a combo plate and had ribs and chicken.. the ribs are tasty too! ??
Fantastic spot with great prices! Love the ribs, jerk chicken, and curry goat. Be sure to keep an eye out for the daily specials, too.

This place is a vacation in your mouth.. the food is delicious and so authentic. I also had a watermelon red stripe so tasty.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie platter.Parking: There is street parking, I believe they have maybe 5 parking spaces on the premise.
I don't eat Jamican food, I get it for my wife. She loves it! You need to plan your trip there if you intend on dining in. It's a rather small place but when it gets warmer they seat outside! Place and people that work there are great! Couple that with good eats and it's why Yaso is so popular!
