Food is great. Half order is a perfect size. You can also do half and half entrees if you want to try a few things. In town for a convention but this may be every meal while we are in town. Their side bread is an experience all by itself!!!

Yats has never failed, at any of their locations, to provide incredibly delicious food, friendly service, and an awesome atmosphere. I have never left feeling disappointed about anything from these guys. They do it right every time. I absolutely love the drunken chicken and their peanut butter pie!

Food was phenomenal, not quite real Cajun and Creole food to me, but definitely still worth it. The pricing was also really good for the area and other meals I had eaten.

Friendly staff and the food was out super quickly, and the dining area was clean and tidy.

Would definitely come back.

I love yats but I will not be back to this location. No samples, staff is rude and no chili cheese etouffée

Parking is a bit confusing. I'm not sure if parking behind the building is only for the lofts above it or if you can park for the businesses there. I love their chili cheese étouffée but they were out. The spinach and mushroom étouffée is still just as good. Their bread is the best side of bread I've ever had! I could eat that all day every day!

Such an odd experience tonight. Have dined with Yats many times and have always had a positive experience. Tonight my husband and I walked in and were met with no greeting or eye contact by the girl at the register. When i said “Hi” she responded with annoyance that they were only doing to-go before being interrupted by another employee who said they had sold out and were closed for the night. I looked at my watch and realized it was 7:55. 5 minutes before closing is definitely not ideal in the service industry, that I understand. However we were happy to get our order to go, and knowing Yats cuisine it didn’t seem unreasonable to be able to throw some rice, bread and stew in a to go box within 5 minutes. We also found it hard to believe they were sold out of everything on a Thursday night with a completely empty restaurant. The customer service was so dismissive and unfriendly, we left with a bad taste in our mouth. We love Yats, but definitely won’t be visiting this location again.

The service and food is absolutely wonderful. If you love cajun food this is the place to go. My favorite is the red beans and sausage and chicken etouffee with extra bread. The bread is so good with the butter on top. The prices are reasonable. You can also do half-half instead of doing a full order of one thing. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly. Parking can be a little challenging around this spot. The best thing is to park on the street or parking garage across the street.

We just moved back to Indy after two years. Yats was the first place we made sure to go. We've loved it since we originally moved here 15 years ago. Now I'm hungry for Yats just thinking about it.

YATS is great! Not exactly health food, but sometimes, I just have a craving. The food is always good and the Luisiana sauce is wonderful. Never disappointing.

Left Yats extremely annoyed tonight. I showed up at 720, 40 minutes before closing time. The front of house guy had all dining room chairs up on the tables. When I asked if we could sit, he told me that the kitchen was packing our food to go because they close soon. When I said I wanted to dine in, he begrudgingly said we could sit in the bar area. He then turned down multiple customers because “they were closing in 10 minutes” yet it was 730. At 738, he told me to get a refill because he was turning the soda machine off. Y’all are open til 8. Be open til 8.

Drunken chicken absolutely slaps but if often sold out. Always get extra bread it doesnt cost much and makes the meal so much better!
