I’ve been coming to Yats for years now, but this is by far the best location. The employees are super cool, vibes are on point, and they are always jamming out to the best playlist! I really feel like I can totally be myself when I come in here and vibe with the boys. I highly recommend the jambalaya, the hot sauce level is legit and the peanut butter pie is absolutely EPIC. 10/10 5 star review!

I had heard about Yats during the first four years I lived in Indianapolis, but never got around to going there. I am now totally kicking myself for not having tried it before. The food is absolutely delicious, with the focus on flavor accented with an appropriate level of heat, rather than heat that has food in it. At the recommendation of the very nice gentleman who took the order, I had a 1/2 and 1/2 of chili cheese etoufee with crawfish ( OMG!) and Drunken chicken (YUMMMMMMMMMMM!)It. Was. AMAZING!!!!!He also mentioned the order came with the Cajun bread. It does not. It comes with a few pieces of buttery, toasted, heaven on earth perfection disguising itself as 'bread'. He added that people really like it. This is like saying people like oxygen. The Cajun bread is beyond mere 'liking': this stuff is fundamental to one's existence on this planet.Huge portions!Incredibly cheap!Really nice people!Go here! Now! Right now!!!! You do not know what you're missing... and right now, I'm missing another piece of the bread.Can't wait to go back and try something else!

Visited this restaurant based on the reviews, and I’m so glad I did! The gentleman working behind the counter helped me make a selection which came out very quickly, and was absolutely delicious! I will be back, but next time I’ll bring a friend.

One of the only things I miss about Indy. Can't go wrong with the chicken maque choux and drunken chicken, and don't even get me started on the bread... Just get it. You won't regret it!

I wasn't able to take a picture of my food but I ordered the vegan chili with extra bread. I love their bread. My food was hot and fresh. It didn't take long for them to make my food. I was in and out.
Best Yats in town! The food is always delicious and comes out super fast. On top of that, the store was very clean and organized and the customer service is next level. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I will avoid this location going forward, the last 3 times we’ve eaten here (and I’ve talked to the workers about this) the food we’ve gotten has almost no meat in it and is almost all rice and sauce. This is the only location where this happens and feel that this is a way for this location to go cheap and raise profit margins. If you want what you paid for, go to another spot
