This is my Favorite Lunch Destination!!! The food is wonderful and the staff is always friendly and nice. Try the "Half and Half." That way you can get 2 different entrees. I always pay 75¢ for extra bread. The total comes to $11.50 for a good amount of food. I come here to eat at least once a week.... probably 6-7 times a month!!My favorites are:Chili Cheese Etouffee with CrawfishDrunken ChickenChicken Maque ChouxWhite Chicken ChiliVegetarian options: Vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Dairy and Gluten free options

Authentic Cajun curries and stews with a low-key, artsy, and charming vibe, taking me straight back to the good old days in the New Orleans French Quarter! ?? The bread ? is amazing and is the highlight of their menu, all smothered with an orange buttery sauce. For entrees, I especially recommend the drunken chicken, the chicken maque choux and the spinach and mushroom etouffee. This specific Yats location is particularly fancy schmancy! Unlike the other Yats locations that use disposable plates, Yats Traders Point uses ceramic plates. ????? And this Yats has an actual bar, with taps for beer. The people there are awesome! Cool, friendly, and always happy to chat. The restaurant is so hip and artsy, you feel like you're in New Orleans again!5/5, would recommend!Vegetarian options: The spinach and mushroom ? etoufee is amazing!Dietary restrictions: Heads up that the bread has gluten in it. ?Parking: Yats does not charge for parking. ?️Kid-friendliness: Yats is very kid friendly!Wheelchair accessibility: Aside from a door that you must pull, the rest of the place is wheelchair accessible.

Ok, but not somewhere I would go out of my way for. Inexpensive which is nice.

There is no other YATS that I visit. The ambience is so open and friendly. Lucas keeps this place very clean (bathrooms) and outside in the dining area. Not to mention all the cool they pipe in. With the food and vibe of this place, this place has my full respect and appreciation for a great dining

I love good food. Got the gumbo and the spinach dish but the hands down winner is the drunken chicken. Made for a quick luncheon for 10. In and out in 10 minutes. The garlic bread is excellent. Just get yourself a good bottle of wine and a green vegetable. Lie and tell your friends and family you did that.

Outstanding little cajun food restaurant that is easy to find using Google Maps. It is on the NW side of Indianapolis, Indiana. This is some of the best cajun I have had outside of Louisiana. The restaurant is in a small shopping area. It is well kept and clean and the service was excellent. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and is free.

When visiting my friend in Indianapolis, I asked her to take me to the place is she love to eat while growing up. She brought me to Yats and upon entering the establishment and smelling all of the lovely spices, I knew that she hadn't steered me wrong. The decoration is very New Orleans style and it's counter service so easy to find a seat to have a quick in and out meal. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the options here, but I personally loved the crawfish etoufee, and the jambalaya was also delicious. The bread was also absolutely insanely delicious and I would love to know what they do to it to make it so yummy. Service was extremely quick and they also had a bunch of fun sauces, and spices to try with your dish as well.
