I had shakshuka and a chicken sandwich, and they both tasted so wholesome and healthy. The vanilla latte was amazing; they even make their own vanilla syrup. The pistachio latte was rich and delicious, too. The interior was very impressive and added to the whole experience.

10/10 recommend. The owner and staff catered my wedding and the food was delicious! Very flavorful and the guests all enjoyed it (No leftovers). The owner was very personable, communicative and responsive. She checked in before the wedding, and was precisely on time the day of. AND... when we were going through our cards after the wedding, we found one from her! Signed by her and the staff congratulating us on our special day! This place not only puts great care into their food and service, but into their customers as well. My original caterer fell through last minute, and I found this place. Their compassion and empathy for my situation truly saved our reception. I can't appreciate the food and staff more ❤️

One of the signs of a good restaurant is the owner’s laptop and papers out at the bar. They inhabit their restaurant like their own home. I felt very welcome in this chef’s house when greeted personally by one of the owners, who also served at the table when an employee was delayed. Another sign is the number of elements made in house. Everything fresh and everything carefully prepared at Yazsh. Shakshuka: deeply flavored sauce and perfect poached eggs. Cucumber soup: zesty and bright with homemade pickled cucumber and yogurt. The menu is simple yet tantalizing - I already plan to come back to try other dishes.
Many new restaurants come and go. We need to keep this one alive, people.

Had a delicious lunch today at Yazsh! If you haven’t been to this new little gem just east of downtown yet, do yourself a favor and stop in soon. Yazsh features elevated Mediterranean cuisine and delicious coffees, teas, wine, mimosas and more.
Restaurants are really struggling these days and it’s so important to support our locally owned, unique dining destinations. The owner and entire staff are so welcoming and the space is cozy and inviting. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos but I had the sausage wrap with a side of chickpea salad and left very full and satisfied. Check it out!

Excellent food with large portions, we got the chickpea salad, the moussaka, and the mushroom pilaf special. The honey and nut latte is filled with pistachios and is just the right amount of sweet. Very eager to return and try other items on the menu!

A Hidden Gem on Michigan Street!
What an incredible find! This new Bulgarian/Mediterranean Bistro is an absolute delight. From start to finish, the food was nothing short of scrumptious. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
I ordered the scrambled eggs and, as someone with a mild salt addiction, I asked for salt on the side. To my surprise, the server, Steven, brought me a house-made salt seasoning blend that was out of this world; one of those little touches that instantly tells you this place cares about flavor and detail.
My spouse ordered the crepes, and honestly, they were the best I’ve ever had in the U.S.! They were light, perfectly cooked, and so, so flavorful.
Steven deserves a special mention: friendly, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable about the bistro’s unique offerings. His enthusiasm made the experience even better.
We're lucky in Indy to have this new spot. Whether you’re craving a relaxed breakfast, a Mediterranean lunch, or just want to discover something fresh and different, this bistro is a must-visit. We can’t wait to go back for dinner!

Came in for date night and was very impressed! Great vibe, kind staff, and delicious food. We got the special (ratatouille flowers) and the bolognese orzo dish. Both amazing. Also so happy they have coffee for after dinner!

I really liked the place. It’s Mediterranean/Bulgarian fusion. Especially liked the minestrone soup and orzo meat pasta. Definitely recommend it.

This place is going to be an absolute mainstay.
I want to fully get across, this is some of the best food I’ve had in indianapolis. The Italian wedding soup was probably one of the 3 best bowls of soup I’ve ever had. I also had their salmon eggs benedict and it was the most flavorful Benedict I’ve had in Indy. Pair that with a chill and clean and austere balkan vibe environment, and an immediate chill greeting upon walking in the door, AND a kid friendly space for our 1 year old to toddle around…. instant winner, seriously.
I expect to go back later this week for more soup before they change it.
And then next week to get an evening glass of wine.
You get my drift- you’re going to go and then go again.
