The sushi was extremely chewy, tuna and salmon both. It was inedible and what we were able to eat made us sick the next day. The staff didn't seem to understand a majority of what was being said which caused me to get salmon and smoked salmon in a poke bowl when I only wanted smoked. Definitely not a place I recommend, even if it's the only place open. Bad experience overall, and a waste of food and money!

Food sits in a warmer all day. Despite requesting freshly made items, they act as if they don’t understand English. Decided to take what was available and the TEMPERATURE of the food isn’t hot enough…lukewarm to cold at best! #BoardOfHealth

I ordered a Bento box and the Sashimi (only) offering they have in the menu. I have to say the pictures on the web and Google maps look way better than how the actual food is presented. All items appear to be pre-cooked for the day and then the workers just assemble the dish ordered. I'd say, overall, prices are reasonable and match what you get. That said, the shrimp served in the Bento box is just minuscule (like, real tiny) so be prepared. The sashimi was surprisingly good. The pieces were somewhat thin but were wide. Taste overall was good. I also ordered a Taro slushie and that was very satisfying. A la señorita que me ayudó se le olvidó darme las salsas que pedí :( I would try again in the future #bechego

I recently bought food Togo from Yoshi. Everything was packaged nicely and correct. However upon first first of my hibachi chicken I bit into bone. I believe it was chicken thigh. I was not expecting to bite into bones and it hurt my teeth so bad I was unable to finish my meal. Sushi was great but I think its irresponsible to leave bone in a meal you dont expect to chew around bone. I would not recommend getting the chicken

Felt like a sauna in there. No AC at all in the summer. Walked right out after I found out it’s always like that.

1) You need your customers and employees to be comfortable

2) sushi and raw fish should not be prepared in hot environments

The employee says it’s always like that. Stop cheaping out on the AC, it’s costing you business.

I placed an order last night via grubhub and it turned into an absolute nightmare. I clearly noted multiple times that my partner has severe allergies to shrimp and avocado and specifically requested these ingredients be excluded from our sushi. Despite this, the dietary restrictions were completely ignored.

To make things worse, we also ordered a chicken teriyaki dinner, which we assumed would be a safe option after finding out the sushi was inedible for my partner but it was clearly cross-contaminated with shellfish as it resulted in a life-threatening allergic reaction and could have resulted in an emergency hospital visit had my partner not taken their allergy medication quick enough.

This was not just an inconvenience, this was clear negligence on the restaurants behalf as my partners medical emergency could have been entirely avoided had the restaurant shown even the slightest care or attention to the notes provided. Ordering through Grubhub should not mean compromising safety, yet Yoshi's staff blatantly disregarded the allergy restrictions they were made aware of in advance and put my partner’s life at risk.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Do not order from this restaurant if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. They clearly do not take them seriously and should be held accountable for the negligence they have shown my partner and most likely countless of other unsuspecting customers with allergy restrictions.

Ps: I attached a picture of the order receipt which clearly shows the dietary requests for both items that were made incorrectly in case Yoshi chooses to deny accountability.

Would highly not recommend the food is bland they only gave me one piece of broccoli in my hibachi the chicken has no flavor the rice has no flavor half my rice is peas and carrots and half the rice is white food id barely tolerable not to mention every single time I call the establishment they don't pick up
