“Upon my visit to Oink Inc Smokehouse, I embarked on a culinary journey that left me with mixed feelings. Starting with the Smoked Salmon dip, I was disappointed to find that it lacked the distinctive flavor of salmon, instead resembling more of a shrimp dip with a dominant cocktail sauce undertone.Moving on to the three meats platter featuring ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, while the flavors were commendably smoky, the meat unfortunately fell short in tenderness, presenting a dry texture. However, the standout dish of the evening was undeniably the Bourbon Praline Chicken. Its impeccable taste and delectable sauce left a lasting impression, though I found myself yearning for a larger portion to savor.Accompanied by sides such as the hash brown casserole and Mac and cheese, the flavors were well-balanced, but the loaded potato salad left much to be desired, tasting bland and reminiscent of a basic potato salad with a hint of salad dressing. On a brighter note, the Caesar salad offered a refreshing contrast with its decent portion size and delightful Caesar dressing.The Oink Sauce, unfortunately, missed the mark with its overpowering salad dressing-like taste, mixed with an unpleasant staleness that detracted from the overall dining experience.While the food at Oink Inc Smokehouse was not entirely lacking, the prices felt unjustified, especially considering the modest portion sizes. With dishes like the praline chicken priced at $18.95 for three pieces, it leaves one questioning the value proposition. Overall, while there were highlights in the menu, the inconsistent execution and pricing may deter a return visit.“

“My wife and I used them for our wedding catering in Boonville in March 2024. They brought a truck and cooked all the food on sight. Very courteous staff, and the cooks have great taste in music. Buffet food was delicious, exactly what we expected having been to the restaurant in Jasper several times. The appetizers during cocktail hour were very well received by our guests. They also cut the cake for us. Very affordable as well. The catering manager, Tammy, was easy to work with and helped make the planning process easier. We would recommend their catering to anyone.“

“In August 2023, I & My cousin organized a large family reunion. The caterer we had used in previous reunions was not available. We then learned of Sander Catering and based on the reviews at the website and learning from other family members that had enjoyed their food at other events, we contracted with Sander Catering for one hundred meals. We chose the fried chicken, German fried potatoes, mac & cheese, green beans, and Cole slaw. Even with the fifty-mile delivery distance, the food was hot and super tasty. We heard many happy reviews from those at the reunion, especially regarding the super tasty fried chicken and the Cole slaw. Sander Catering is a very professional organization.
