This is our 3rd visit while traveling in Indiana. We are never disappointed!!! The food is excellent and our service is always top notch. My husband’s favorite is the pork shank. He had it while traveling in Germany and loved it. He was so happy to find it on the menu at Schnitzelbank. If you love German cuisine, I’d highly recommend but even if you don’t there are so many amazing options.

Huge variety of offerings...including items on the salad bar which was very fresh and delicious. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful. I was traveling back to Lafayette from Evansville and drove 1 hour out of my way just to eat there.

I'm so glad that we discovered this restaurant after viewing the eclipse nearby. The food was extraordinary and authentic. We also enjoyed the German themed decor and the staff dressed in traditional dirndls. Be sure to check out the gift shop filled with cuckoo clocks, steins, Christmas ornaments, German chocolate, and too many wonderful items to mention here. We will definitely come back!

The place is pricey, but you get a lot of food and it was all good. I loved the Bavarian Pretzel! It was cold when we were there and had to leave our jackets on inside because it didn't seem like they turned the heat on. Would have enjoyed it more if the temperature inside was more comfortable.
Just enjoy some German food and a visit to Jasper,IN. My husband's favorite saltines are Schnucks. Jasper is the closest one. We make a day trip out of it . The grocery, then enjoy a meal at Schnitzelbank ?❤️

Fantastic German food, great atmosphere, friendly staff - even after a long, busy day of Eclipse tourists. Rouladen was splendid, Black Forest cake was zehr gut!

Ridiculous that we have to pay the 3% credit card fee when it is a business expense. On top of it all the fee was added to my ticket and never got the option to pay cash, which we were prepared to do. Make up your minds either we pay the tips to pay your employees or pay for expenses to run your business. We tipped lower for having to pay credit card fees
