Big Ben's D & M Restaurant at the Depot

The brisket was cooked perfectly, but it was bland. The online prices are only half of what the prices were in store. The rest of the food was mediocre (pasta salad and mac and pulled pork). No lights were on inside and even though there are windows, it was kind of dark. I looked creepy inside, I wasn't even sure they were open. The man taking our order mumbled everything so it was hard to make sure our food was right. Spent over 30 dollars for 2 sandwiches and 2 sides and 2 drinks. Never got the drinks. Did not order sandwiches (i asked if the combos were sandwiches and he said no so I ordered the combos and they were in fact sandwiches I guess).

Hello. I just had a brisket sandwich and small- super small Mac and cheese with a small tea. First off food tasted great. Price was very high $17+
Honestly my biggest issue was I felt very unwanted or welcome. I’m very nice and always say high and ask how your day is. Guy wanted nothing to do with it or answering any questions.

Ive had better. Ribs absolutely need sauce, kinda dry otherwise. Macaroni was the worst I've had, definitely NOT baked...seemed like boxed 0/10. Collard greens were very mushy and tasted more like miso soup. Baked beans were entirely too sweet and runny. Originally wanted to order the brisket, none was available at the time. Quality was not worth the cost. Very friendly service!

Had the rib tip dinner. Bland. When i say bland i mean bland. No flavor whatsoever. Two dinners at a total of over $40. Was not worth it. Sorry to disappoint. But ibdo not see how they won so many awards. Could have wennt to Platinum Gas station and gotta better meal for two for half the price..........
And it was the first time i have ever pulled upnto ANY bbq place and NOT smell bbq....

The customer service was horrible. I walked in and the guy at the counter was pointing at something, I stopped to look around to see what it was but didn’t see anything on the floor. As I got closer to the register he pointed again, that was when I realized he was pointing at the menu. No greeting just a point. When I stated that I wanted a drink, he pointed at the fridge and when I stood there a few seconds, he finally said “pick something out from the fridge”! 🤦🏽‍♀️
The food lacked flavor so I was highly disappointed because the reviews were so great I was expecting more. The ribs were tender, but weren’t seasoned, the baked beans were pork n beans with sugar. I ended up asking to get my food to go, because the table had not been cleaned and I didn’t want to eat on it. I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

The rib tips were tender with a light smokey flavor. The pulled pork had a light, sweet flavor and not dry at all. The toppings, fresh slaw, beans and mac and cheese made it so delicious. The cabbage was cooked to perfection. I can't believe we waited so long to visit!

I'm going there for lunch right now. Love everything on the menu and the feeling of community is alive and well. I highly recommend the brisket sammich. 😍Amazinggggg!!!!!!!

I loved my experience at Big Ben’s BBQ. Upon arriving the owners greeted us with a smile and recommend their sweet tea and sauces. The food is next level, fresh and delicious. I ordered the sliced brisket with bbq sauce, potato salad and Mac and cheese. Everything tasted fantastic, brisket is super tender, Mac and cheese is very creamy. YUM. Don’t pass this place up.

The BBQ at this establishment boasts a rich, smoky sweetness. I was introduced to the concept of turkey ribs, and I must say they are exceptional. The owners are sweet and kind people. Be sure to dine here.

We were treated so kindly by the owners and our food was delicious! Best BBQ in the area. We will definitely be coming back. I’ll be dreaming of the greens and Mac n cheese for days to come!
