“After walking through old Louisville for the afternoon, I stopped at this place for a bite. I got the fried tilapia and the Chicken Sandwich. The food was delightful, and the service was outstanding. It's supposed to come with Somali spices, but I told them to specifically hold all spices, put it at a classic white boy spice level, where mayonnaise is considered borderline hot and pepper is too much. This city has a lot of Somalis, so I took it upon myself to try the cuisine for the first time. It was so good I couldn't wait to leave a review. Additionally, as a proponent of the idea of Evolution, many Somalis are steadfast in adopting Evolution and Scientific theories in their homes, in their schools, and in their hearts and minds. Good people, good food, good thoughts.“

“OMG!! The most amazing food!! At great prices!!! We got rice topped with cooked spinach, beans, a beef/potato stew, and salad with two samosas filled with beef? lamb? both? It was plenty of food to fill us both up! They also had goat and a couple of chicken dishes - next time!The atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable for us as two women—lots of men, and ONLY men (as expected since Somali women are typically more visible in the domestic sphere)—but we took the food to go. Service was prompt and friendly, even with a slight language barrier.We will definitely be back!! ???“
