Love the bar on the bottom patio. Great view of louisville. Live entertainment. Great atmosphere. Dog friendly is a major plus. On the rocks is the name

Well if you're gonna charge me 22 dollars for fish platter makes sure the food is hot. I got a pick 4 platter with fried clams, crab cakes, Cajun frog legs, and lemon pepper Tilapia. The rice pilaf under the Tilapia was hard and under cooked. The Tilapia itself was cold, the frog legs cold, and the deep fried stuff was blazing hot to hot to eat. So I can only assume that the Tilapia and frog legs sat while the fried stuff was being prepared and got cold. The waitress we had was very unpleasant and actually was offensive at time. The fried green tomatoes and Mushroom appetizers we bought were good..but for a 60 dollar meal... I could have got better at Long John Silvers for 20 bucks.... this used to be my most favorite place to be...now I doubt I'll ever go back..what a shame
I have been craving Kingfish fried cod fish & onion rings for awhile. My husband & I ate there a few nights ago & we were both disappointed in the breading on the fish & onion rings. My husband got a seafood platter & only ate 1 each of the oysters & scallops. The oysters tasted like they had been rinsed in some chemical & the scallops were not what we remembered. Our server was excellent though, never had to ask her for anything. Not sure what has changed, but please go back to your original breading!

Very very mid food. The coconut shrimp was burnt and everything fried had no taste or seasoning whatsoever. We paid $28 for a combination “platter” of what consisted of five fried shrimp, five coconut shrimp and one piece of fried cod and two sides (green beans, meh, and fries straight from the warehouse).
The only redeemable quality is the view and the free parking.
We have been coming here for years it was one of my mom's favorite restaurants. We decided to drive down and eat yesterday to just kind of honor my mom who has been gone 5 years. Sadly we were very disappointed. I don't know if they have changed their batter or their food but it had no flavor. The cod was dry and no seasoning. The shrimp was hardly battered and had no taste. The fries were cold. The coconut shrimp wasn't even served with a sauce. And the worst of it, it tasted like it had all been fried in old grease!! The best thing about the meal was the baked potato and the hush puppies. We used to love driving down from Indy to eat on the river and used to really enjoy the food but yesterday was a real disappointment and not to mention a waste of money. We probably will never be back unfortunately.

The food is generally good, but tonight we got the combination platter with grilled salmon and shrimp. The salmon was unseasoned with the texture of jerky. For the price, the portions are not very much… a small piece of salmon and 5 small shrimp. The cups also smelled like the dishwasher needs to be cleaned.

Our food is typically really good from here, but this time it was not. Maybe it was an off day. Fish and hush puppies were just not good like they normally are.

An excellant place to eat set along the Ohio river in Jeffersonville, Indiana where you can enjoy the view of downtown Louisville and watch boats go by. Also has outdoor seating and very friendly servers. The white fish is so delicious and the hush puppies are big. This is a place you want to visit again and again.
The managers were rude, food was cold and greasy don’t go here!!!
