Food and location are great, but the reason of this review was Erin, she was a pro, efficient and very friendly, w/o overdoing it.

Had a rocky start to my experience at Upland - we waited for several minutes by the “wait here to be seated” sign and no one acknowledged us despite there being several employees standing around. After a while and making eye contact with a number of the employees, they finally came over and seated us. We also made reservations and I’m pretty sure they marked off someone else’s reservation because it was under a completely different last name. The host didn’t seem to care though. However, from that point on everything was fantastic. They have a large tap list with options for every taste and all of the beers we tried were top notch. Our server, Shawn, was super cool and did a great job taking care of us! I had the tenderloin sandwich which was thick and juicy - would definitely recommend. And be sure to try the blue cheese coleslaw if you like blue cheese.

Amazing atmosphere, robust menu, and any place that has a Pizza called The Ron Swanson wins. The hostest Kamdyn greeted us with a smile and was very accommodating in helping us with a table easily accessible for a member of our party on crutches. Our server had great suggestions for both their tap menu and food.

I walked in Saturday afternoon 11/8. The hostess led me to a room overlooking the Ohio River where I was the only customer seated. After waiting at least 15 minutes without seeing a server or receiving a glass of water, I left. I walked across the parking lot to Kingfish. As soon as I was seated a server took my order and brought me a glass of water.

Great River View and Louisville Skyline, sold food offerings and great beer selections. Fish and Chips were spot on, and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Definitely Recommend!

When we arrived I was lamenting that the weather was bad because it seemed like it would be nice to sit outside overlooking the river. We were seated near a wall of windows overlooking the river so it was still nice in spite of the rain. The food was all good, as was the beer we tried, I just took off a star because I felt rushed. There were so many beers that sounded interesting that I wanted to ask if they offered a flight, but instead the server just dropped off the check so I figured we had better get going. We came at an odd time (about 3:30) so maybe he was still there from lunch and anxious to get off. My only other suggestion would be to add a mini pizza to the kids menu since pizza is on the menu.

My mom and I tried this place for lunch today for the first time. We thought it might be noisy, but it was actually really quiet and had a great view of the river. I had the Thai Tofu Salad and thought it was good. I'm a vegetarian, and I had several options to choose from. I think their burgers can all be replaced with a black bean patty too. The service was great. I would definitely go back.

It was a little chilly inside, but I think as the place fills up it's a lot warmer. That was the only negative I had.

My friend and I stopped by Upland Jefferson Brewery & Restaurant looking for a relaxed night out. We arrived about 45 minutes before closing and settled at the bar, opting for two quick beers each, which were excellent. We didn't want to keep the staff late, but things quickly got interesting.

About ten minutes after we sat down, a couple came in and asked to sit outside. The server seated them and came back in, asking the bartender how to turn on the heater. Then, he informed her that four more people were on their way. True to their word, the friends arrived about five minutes later. The group proceeded to place a huge order: one shot of tequila, five margaritas, four main courses, and two appetizers.

My friend and I could clearly see the stress this caused, but the bartender and server just rolled with it. Then, ten minutes later, the group came back inside to say the margaritas didn't taste good and they wanted to cancel their entire food order. Most people would have had a visibly stressed or negative reaction, but these two staff members were cool as a cucumber—true rockstars. To top it all off, the group left without paying for a single item.

We paid our tab and tipped both the server and bartender generously. I was so impressed with their composure that I even gave the bartender a Mega Millions ticket I'd just bought as a congratulatory gesture for their incredible service.

Please don't be that type of customer. It is incredibly inconsiderate, and no one appreciates that kind of behavior. The staff at Upland Jefferson, however, handled a terrible situation with absolute grace. They deserve your business and respect.

I enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck. The food has been consistently tasty. I have the Bad Elmers style fried chicken sandwich. I love that I can have any burger option on chicken as well. My family usually gets a burger. I'm grateful they have fruit as a side option for kids. The staff are very busy and sometimes hard to catch their eye for another drink but that's my only negative. I will go back.

Food and drink were fantastic and our service was excellent. We stopped here prior to an event across the river at the Yum Center and were all pleased with the efficiency to allow us to have a leisurely dinner. River views and restaurant interior were both great. A drawback would be the high noise level and inability to hear conversations at a typical volume to be heard by anyone at our table, including our direct seat mate. We also had issues with multiple wobbly chairs at our seating that were so noticeable they had to be taken out of use and placed off to the side.
