After reading so many good reviews, I was excited to try their food. I'd heard so many good things about their service and food. However my experience was very disappointing. I was the only customer there when I picked up my to go order, but the young man behind the counter had no interest in being a good employee. He was very short with his responses, never greeted me, and never said one thank you. I offer him a "have a good night." And he just ignored me and sat back down.I ordered the bourbon chicken, and was excited to try it because its the only place around here to offer it.The chicken was very poor quality and very dry. The whole bowl was soaked in the bourbon sauce to the point that the rice was floating. Not at all what bourbon chicken should be. The rice itself was good, but the rest of the dish was lower quality than a microwave dinner. I wish they had lived up to the hype.

Don't let the exterior fool you. We almost didn't go in, and we would have missed one of the best seafood experiences in the state if we hadn't. The interior reminds me of East Coast crab restaurants with the brown paper covering each table. The staff all came out to see how we were enjoying our meal. The atmosphere is relaxed & inviting, a lot like eating at your friend's house, but your friend is a chef who makes the best seafood you've ever tasted.The crab boil was delicious. It includes a cluster of crab legs, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, and a hard boiled egg cooked in a delicious sauce, delivered to your table still in the bag. You're going to need lots of napkins, but, believe me, it's worth it.

What an absolute joy and treat to have this gem close to home! We have been here several times and the food is absolutely amazing! The texture, seasoning...EVERTHING is on point! I feel like I am walking into a New Orleans Mom and Pop shop with exquisite food! The owners and people that work here are so nice! Having this kind of amazing seafood in Indiana is such a treat is priceless, I hope they never close :-)

NOTHING compares, you MUST try! The best crab I’ve had was in Florida and that was almost 10 years ago! I’ve had plenty of crab since then obviously and have had decent crab…until this place. This tops all crab and seafood that I have EVER eaten! First thing walking in with my fiancé we were greeted with such warm welcomes as if I have known them for a lifetime. The seasonings and flavor are like no other out there. Its so good and has a slight kick to it, but not so much it drives those away who hate spice. I got the crab boil personally and the crab was perfect, shrimp perfect, potatoes perfect, corn sweet and perfect, egg perfect, and the sausage perfect! Not to mention we drove an hour to get there so its easy to be picky, but I have no complaints! Id offer a photo, but was too eager with it tasting so great I forgot to snap a shot!

Yum! I ordered the crab boil. I liked that the shrimp texture was right. The shrimp texture reminded me more of an Alabama royal red though a little bit smaller. It was not rubbery and off color like you sometimes get in chain restaurants. The crab was not fishy and cracked easily. If I got it again, I would ask if I can get the butter on the side because it was quite messy and they don't skimp on the butter. The seasoned butter is unlike anything I have tried and I could not figure out the blend of ingredients but it was packed with flavor. The staff were pleasant and fun. Definitely a must try and the next time I am in Kokomo on the right day, I will be back to try other things.

I really like this place but they don't always have their full menu. I understand its a private run business so I don't fault it too much but it is frustrating not to be able to order what you want sometimes. Otherwise the food is amazing! And the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend, just call and make sure they have what you want first.
