“We visited here on Christmas Eve for our first time and it did not disappoint!!! We ordered three dishes to share (chicken tikka masala, chicken curry & lamb butter masala) and two kids meals (chicken tenders and corn dogs)! Ended the meal with rice pudding and fruit custard. Everything was great, food and service! We will be back!!”

“I still vividly remember the day Sokuri Restaurant first opened in Kokomo. It may not be so special occasion if you live in a big city, but for me, the thrill and joy that this very first Korean restaurant in town did bring to me back then was truly enormous.

I was born and raised in Korea, and grew up with Korean food until my early 30s, so I wanted so badly more than anyone else for a Korean restaurant to open in Kokomo. -- One of the hardest things about living alone here for me was not loneliness, but FOOD (along with English).

Thankfully, Sokuri's dishes were surprisingly great, authentic, clean, and of course so delicious.  Most importantly, they don't seem to use too much salt or artificial seasoning, so it tasted classy nostalgic just like my mom cooking at home for family.  It's obviously not easy to find such an integrous/conscientious restaurant in Indiana, so I'm really grateful for having Sokuri in my neighborhood.

“Fantastic food! We were in from Rhode Island for the races at Kokomo Speedway. We got a tip from the waitress at breakfast and she was right on. We got the brisket and sausage. Moist and smoky. The brisket had the flavor ring and cut with a fork. The portions were big and the prices reasonable. Only two guys work here and they were both very personable. We are experts in eating BBQ and this is some of the best we ever had.”

This place reminded me of the many times I would go to a local cafe and see the old boys chatting up a storm about the latest news and gossip. With 2 main dishes, both uncharged due to extras, an appetizer, 2 drinks, 2 alcoholic drinks, and a tip, a total of $97 was spent. The chicken was so tender, I could pull it apart with a fork. Honestly delicious and the service was amazing. Our drinks were kept full and the server checked in regularly enough to not feel like we were overwhelmed or left wanting. “Tastefully Indiana made cupcakes for my daughter and son for their fall parties. They both said they were the best gluten-free dairy free cupcakes they have ever tasted in their entire lives (they are none and six). My daughter then corrected herself and said they are the best cupcakes she’s EVER HAD, even when she used to eat dairy. I tried them and agreed. They are by far the most moist, dense cupcakes I’ve ever tasted. I highly recommend them !!”

“I cannot say enough good things about this place! My grandparents used to take me here when I was barely old enough to walk (this was mid 1980’s). We would come in the south entrance to sit… because it was the smoking section!! Their chicken and noodles are AMAZING! My grandmother claimed she “helped” them doctor up the recipe to taste and look better. Although both my grandparents are no longer living, and I live 1,000 miles away, I think of this place often. I plan on taking a trip next year to good ol’ Kokomo… and I will be bringing my husband and daughter for their very first taste of Breakfast House! I cannot wait to share this amazing place with them!”

Every morning we stop there and we get the same thing a chi latte two orders of bread sticks no cheese and normally a coney dog , she always remembers our order always gets it right and never forgets our sons candy ! She is by far your stores all around BEST employee!!!!! The sweet girl that works her shift with her is so helpful as well ! They are a great team and have really made our experience ! We are so disappointed every time we go to the other location we get burnt food drinks made wrong or a hassle ! I dumped two drinks made at the other store the other day ! The portions of fried rice and fried noodles are huge. If you are not a food fighter, order a small size.
The standard menu is $7, a small size is about $5, and there is a further discount for the lunch special. In the case of chicken, rice is also provided.”

My beef was pretty good, but my husband said the gyro was not good because they put grilled onions instead of raw onions on it, and that messed up the whole sandwich. I myself know Raw onions go on gyros they may wanna change this or at least ask when someone orders it.”

“The "waitress" was very nice and welcoming. Sadly, this location has kiosks to place orders instead of having a menu and server to take your order. The food was delicious. I'd give more stars for the atmosphere if they took the kiosks out and made it how it was back in the day with a server greeting you and taking care of everything for you. Also to note , in order to fill your cup at the fountain, you have to scan the QR code that is printed out with your receipt at the kiosk.”
