I hadn't been there for a long time. We all enjoyed our food. I talked to a very handsome grey headed man. I wish I would of caught his name. ?

The food was ok. Biscuits and gravy was cold but they made a new order and not just reheated in the microwave..

I had high hopes for a good mom&pop breakfast while visiting family in Kokomo… however with the restaurant so visibly dirty and then workers yelling and fighting it would be hard to enjoy even IF the food was good. Most of my table had undercooked omelettes and the portions were tiny. The “hungry man’s breakfast” apparently means “leave here hungry”. But they apparently can’t afford trays to carry out door so they instead set plates of food directly on top of each other piled high and to save from making a second trip or taking a few more steps they aren’t above tucking your plate in their armpit, it is infact something we saw multiple times during our short meal there. Bob Evans is less than 10 minutes away! Even the nearby McDonalds would be better!

Food is always good, generous portions. I have quite a few friends that go there daily.

This was a familiar place for me because I used to take my kids here when they were little. I hadn't been in years but going back ended up being the best decision that day. Their homecooked style meals are so yummy, abundant and comforting. The people that work there are great and provide premium customer service. The prices are great as well! I got the sausage link with pancakes and grits. My son got bacon and eggs. The coffee hit the spot! Those grits, though... 100% recommend! Remember this, though... They close at 3pmParking: I'm not too sure if this is wheelchair accessible. You might want to call first.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere. Fair prices. This place is so good I've literally had dreams that If I were rich I'd build them a whole new facility but keep the aesthetic. Just a little bigger for more seating, a little bigger kitchen. The food is so good home down comfort food. Soups and grilled cheese are so so so good. The pictures are from multiple visits.

Okay, I am so into mom and pops shops to me. That means old school, not this new updated hustle. Bustle, microwave your food this place, on the other hand is fantastic. I'm from Minnesota and I'm down here for work. In Indiana, and this place is just like Nikki's diner back home So if you want some good food and a little harassment and laughing. This is the place I will try and get back. But the hours of operation are early morning and early afternoon so it's hard for a guy who works a full-time job to get here except on the weekends. That's the only downfall to this place. But I will make time and get back hereKid-friendliness: They will put bananas and spruce up the pancakes for the kids and they have booths for families to sit in.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! My grandparents used to take me here when I was barely old enough to walk (this was mid 1980’s). We would come in the south entrance to sit… because it was the smoking section!! Their chicken and noodles are AMAZING! My grandmother claimed she “helped” them doctor up the recipe to taste and look better. Although both my grandparents are no longer living, and I live 1,000 miles away, I think of this place often. I plan on taking a trip next year to good ol’ Kokomo… and I will be bringing my husband and daughter for their very first taste of Breakfast House! I cannot wait to share this amazing place with them!

Had to wait 45 minutes for a refill on coffee and the service sucks. It was over an hour before our order was taken and then it was another 40 minutes before we got our food.

Typical greasy spoon. Grits could have used some flavor.

This isn't haute cuisine; but very good comfort food, at very reasonable prices. Definitely a local favorite, unpretentious and comfortable; with a friendly server who was attentive and accommodating. Really enjoyed our breakfast selections, especially the home fries.
