The employees are absolutely wonderful, warm and welcoming.
Sheryl and I went out to Cracker Barrel after attending Saturday night church service. Service was friendly and food was prepared promptly. Grabbed a $5 take-home meal, while we were there. Value priced comfort food is always a pleasant experience.
I ordered the Fireside Chicken meal at the recommendation of our server, Airy, who was fabulous, by the way. I've eaten at Cracker Barrel 100 times. This was by FAR the best meal I've had here, and rivals meals I've had elsewhere, regardless of their menu. I felt like I had eaten at my grandmother's home. SO good! I will order this again and again until it falls off the seasonal menu. I would advocate that it becomes a permanent offering. Chicken - tender, seasoning perfect - delicious Potatoes - totally delectable, cooked to perfection Carrots - so tender and delicious, bigger than expected, but absolutely fabulous Corn on the cob - perfect! Biscuits(with a side of your glorious biscuit gravy) - beyond words in their deliciousness Airy, our server, was fun and super helpful. I thank her for suggesting this meal! I kind of want to eat it every day! Thankfully, the portion was enough so I got to take the leftovers home to enjoy again! Please consider making this a permanent meal on the menu. I will be singing it's praises for a long time and recommending it to everyone! I've never written a review about a meal before. This one was so fantastic, I had to share pure joy with you. Most satisfied and sincerely, Jim Burchette
Normally I don’t have any problems out of this store but I had food delivered to me and it was easily the worst food I’ve had from there. My meatloaf tasted like it had been sitting for hours on end. The macaroni practically had water in it and the cornbread I couldn’t even cut into to put butter on it was so hard.
Our waitress was so friendly & helpful. she suggested the campfire meals & they were both delicious! The chicken was so moist & the beef melted in your mouth, plus they were fun to eat! Our cashier was also very friendly & welcoming.
Love Cracker Barrel they have good home cooked atmosphere, large portions, and great prices.
Erica was wonderful. The service was great. She was extremely busy but made us feel like we were the only ones there.

We tried a new dish of broiled shrimp, seasoned rice, covered with creole sauce, parmesan toasted bread for dipping. It was wonderful. Not too spicy but just enough flavor to stick. Our waiter ( Joshua R.-Kokomo, In) was outstanding. I used my PEGS awards for a free meal. Nice evening was had by both.
Parking: Plenty of parking. Handicap parking available. Several spaces reserved for call-in orders.

Worst service ever! I hate having to make this post. I took my wife out for an evening dinner at the barrel. Things went south from the very start. The person seating us was argumentative with me about where we could sit. After getting the seating arrangement straitend out, we ordered our meal, and it was delivered to our table in several drops. I made several attempts to try to make the waitress understand that I wanted my meal all at once. Didn't happen. After that, I was left with cole slaw without any cream sauce. It was a cabbage salad. My bake potato came plain. No sour cream,no butter. No, nothing. My tea was dark and bitter. No ice. No kidding. I asked for ice, and it took 15 minutes for the waitress to bring it. We asked for a new Cole slaw and brought one small bowl. The steak was actually very good for the barrel. We asked the waitress about dessert, and she said that they had something like a lemon cake that was not lemon cake but tasted just like lemon cake. Folks, I think you'll have a much better experience at Cracker Barrel than we did. Everything went bad. Everything. We have been going to this place for years, and this is not the norm.I hope that the next time I spend 56 bucks for a meal that it is eat able. I didn't even bother bringing any of it home. The cashier ask me ,how was your meal? I said it was awful. He looked at me and asked me if I said awesome? I said no,it was awful. He never spoke another word. I will be returning to this place again. I have done so for many years. It's all in the averages.
