In my opinion the quality of the food and preparation of the food has changed greatly.
I once enjoyed the fried apples and hash brown casserole. The recipe seems to have changed -the casserole appears to be shredded potatoes with cheese( bland and undercooked) the fried apples I guess now comes out of the can. I don’t think anything is cooked from scratch anymore. The best part of my meal was the steak. I looked forward to having breakfast there but was sadly disappointed.

Craving fried chicken, so we ate here. Great service and food was prepared rather quickly!
Waitress was attentive and friendly.
Mashed potatoes were runny, I Would have gotten something else if I would have known, I don’t usually order mashed potatoes. My husband always gets mashed potatoes, he said they are usually on the runny side at this Cracker Barrel.
I guess the main thing was the chicken, and it was good!
