I hit this plane about every month. They have great salsa and two Mexican hot sauces. I've had several of the foods on the menu abs all are authentic. I prefer this place to the Amercanized places we have locally. I was raised on a cotton farm in the Texas Panhandle so this reminds me of my teenage years when the farm workers shared their food with me or traded me for a ham sandwich 😁.
The grocery store offers mexican exclusive treats, staples, and food. The soup is delicious (although the name escapes me now) with a healthy amount of spice. Tacos had tender meat with the classic cilantro and onion garnish. However, the best part was the several classic Mexican beverages including jamaica and horchata. So good, had to take one to go.
This is the real deal Mexican food in town. Make no mistakes about the store front appearance. This place can make Barea tacos and Menudo soup with the best of them. 100% authentic flavors and ingredients. If your from California or Texas then prepare yourself for something that reminds you of those boarder towns we all loved to eat at. The staff is beyond helpful and polite and they do an excellent job on cleaning everything up after each guest eats and leaves.
