This used to be one of my local favorite food joints and I turned a lot of people on to them. Since them the owners have changed and service as well as food quality have diminished. Thus can't be blamed on help / covid this is just plain out can't run a restaurant. I've given them several opportunities and I'm done trying. Save your hard earned money and go somewhere else.

I use to love it, but I don't now. There was a longer than normal wait. I ordered a gyro and fries. The pita bread was not toasted and the meat was large cold chunks. My fries were old. I don't know whats happening there but it is not anything like it use to be.

I ordered for take out, 2 smokehouse samplers which come with choice of 3 meats and a side. I didn't check the order before I got home, but they didn't include one of the meats in one order. We got ribs, and honestly it was as if it was a joke they would serve these. Both orders were dry, and the meat was hard, like jerky. We couldn't even eat them. Husband didn't finish his smoked sausage, saying it had no flavor. The pulled pork wasn't too bad, but somewhat dry. Don't know about the brisket, they didn't give me that part of the order. Now on to the side. We ordered cold slaw, and after taking one taste, went straight to the trash bin. Come on, it was obviously old slaw, limp, watery, and way too sweet. They may do better with the sandwiches from the menu, but bbq is not something I can recommend.

Great food, nice environment. Beef and noodles were amazing and so are the gyros.
One of the servers was out side near the creek playing with a customer's dog and went inside behind the counter to assist us without washing her hands...totally unsatisfactory...

I do not care for this place anymore. I have been twice since new ownership. I used to always get the gyro salad before and thought it was great, but since the new owners its disgusting. The first time my lettuce was bad and I thought maybe it was just a fluke thing, so I waited a couple months and decided to go again and order another gyro salad. Same problem. Once you pick out all of the bad lettuce, your salad is pretty miniscule. Not to mention I got about a teaspoon of ranch dressing for it and it was very dry. I will never go here again which is unfortunate because its close to my work and convenient, but a $9 salad (plus tip so, $11) should at least be edible and I shouldn't have to worry about getting sick! If you cant keep your lettuce fresh, maybe you should consider taking salads off your menu.

Would not recommend coming here anymore, been trying to come here 4 times, about once a week, in the past month, called ahead of time after the first time and asked if they would be open in 30 minutes everytime they said yes, showed up within 30 minutes, “closed sign” such a shame because this is one of the best gyros in Kokomo, but I absolutely can not endorse any company that closes early more often than not, not to mention to lie about them being open is frustrating, it’s always due to “unforeseen circumstances” go to the other gyro place in Kokomo if you really want one that bad
