I don’t really do reviews, but I’ve had the worst service from this McDonalds! I get better service from the McDonalds on the east side of Indianapolis and that’s saying a lot . I only ordered three items a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit a bacon, egg and cheese Mc griddle and a hash brown and when I get to the window I get told to pull forward for three items…. There was a moderate amount of people there so I understood and went ahead and moved forward to park. But what I didn’t know is that I would then be waiting 25 minutes to receive three items and already being upset with that I return back to work behind now on my schedule to then notice I received the wrong egg on my sandwich. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese Mc griddle and never did I ask for a substitute but instead got a round egg on it that tasted terrible. I typically only go to the Markland McDonald’s because this one on Sycamore even though I live near It, I just have always had worst experiences there. I guess it was my mistake for giving it another chance.

I’ve been a regular at this McDonald's location for over a year, often visiting once or twice daily. I usually order something and work quietly on my laptop or on small personal projects. I’ve always tried to be respectful of the space and the staff.
Most employees here have been consistently kind, professional, and welcoming. I truly appreciate those interactions — they’ve made many of my visits enjoyable.
That said, I had an awkward moment recently. A customer was being rude and disruptive in the lobby. I reacted poorly in the moment, saying something harsh in frustration. I recognize that wasn’t my best choice, and I’m reflecting on how to handle such situations more calmly in the future.
There was also some confusion during an evening shift where a new employee seemed unsure about what I was doing at my table. It felt awkward to be discussed publicly rather than addressed directly. Clear, private communication would have made the situation smoother.
Overall, I’ve had many positive visits here, and I hope future concerns can be handled respectfully. I’m thankful for the staff who consistently make this location a welcoming space, and I’m moving forward with a healthier routine and perspective.

The last few times I gone rhete including today order was wrong. Food was cold and I even got pull. If you pull me my food needs to be right and hot.

I do believe it’s the head manager on shift is amazing job. She always assist and helps me excellent service if you want a decent service and a hot cup of coffee, I would definitely recommend here.

Your guy's a sausage biscuits are hard and falling apart everywhere.Your guys' coke my first drink.It tasted like a sewer gas and the service.I told the lady that the cook tasted.WeirdLike sewer gas, and she gave me a dirty look and walked away

Sounds crazy, but I think I’ve been to the Sycamore McDonald’s everyday since around this time of year in 2024. Maybe sometimes two times a day. I usually just get a drink and work on my projects. I sometimes joke I’m McD’s corporate in disguise! 👁️ 😂
