Our first time trying southern smackerz, and it was phenomenal. We got bbq chicken, shrimp, and chicken tenders. With sides of Mac and cheese, greens, and hush puppies. The hush puppies?….phenomenal! The barbecue chicken was seasoned just right. But let me tell you my all time favorite was the greens. Out of this world. Best I’ve had! We highly recommend and WILL be back!

I had the catfish special, which has 4 pieces of catfish and 2 sides (I got sweet potatoes and greens). There is Easily enough food for 2-3 people. Definitely don't sleep on trying them out like I have if you're looking for a local yummy place to try!

We tried Southern Smackerz for the first time last night. I'm a Southern girl and miss Southern and soul food cooking so much, so was really excited to give them a shot. It was so good it almost made me cry because it tasted just like my mamaw's cooking! Fantastic! It's now become my new addiction.

Originally was planning lunch somewhere else that turned out being closed. We googled places to eat and Southern Smackerz popped up. We figured, why not? Walking in, we were greated by a friendly woman who was down to earth. The atmosphere was was very layed back and walls/decorations full of uplifting sayings. Tyrone brought us out some of their Smack Sauce to try, a MUST HAVE! The food was delicious- amazing flavor, not greasy, cooked perfectly. The crew was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. So glad our original dinning plans fell through. We will definitely be back again!

Last night was our first time getting take out from Southern Smackerz and we'll definitely be back! We got catfish dinners. They came with 2 sides each. We got greens, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese and okra. It was all delicious. And they were having a special where you got an extra piece of fish with the meal you ordered. Pay for 2 pcs get 3, pay for 3 get 4. It was SO much food. The people were really friendly and the service was fast. I highly recommend. We can't wait to try more of their menu.

Out of three peoples orders I think we got one right. Ordered a cheeseburger for my toddler and got chicken wings. No sauce with fish or wings. Waited an hour after we were told 15 mins. This is why people end up at chain restaurants.

My wife and I had heard good things about the food a Southern Smackerz and were looking forward to checking it out for dinner. I got the catfish, fries and potato salad. My wife got shrimp with okra and tots. The owner also blessed us with a sample of bbq pulled pork to try. The food flavors were definitely the star of our visit. Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing, and the portions were huge. I appreciated the upbeat music they were playing and the welcoming staff as well.
Overall it was a great experience. We’re looking forward to eating there again soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
