Today was the first time I'd been able to swing into a Steak 'n Shake since they have started doing their fries in Tallow. Swung in specifically for that reason and was not disappointed. Fries were extraordinarily crispy and flavorful. Only thing lacking was that they are always too thin I think, but you take the good where you can get it. Noticed that they had switched in-store ordering strictly over to kiosk and I'm a bit disappointed in that but it did have an upside today. None of them seem to be working so the young lady behind the counter took my order and made sure I had everything I needed.
Kid-friendliness: I've never been in a burger restaurant that wasn't kid friendly. No exception here
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a good variety of handicap spots and the building itself is extremely wheelchair and disabled friendly.

Excellent! We were politely asked if we needed help using the kiosk to order. Our food arrived quickly. The orders were correct and the food was hot. Ryan, the manager, stopped by the table to make sure everything was good. Later an employee asked if there was anything we needed.

On a family road trip, we stopped here thinking they had something one could find like a salad or something that was gluten free.
To our dismay they no longer sell salads and the only thing is the option of no bun.
The manager was super knowledgeable on the mater and was able to make sure it was as gluten free as possible!
The staff was amazing and the place was very clean even into the restroom.
Vegetarian options: They no longer have their salads.
Dietary restrictions: The manger was able to work out a burger that was gluten free!

The staff here are absolutely incredible. I’m talking some of the best customer service in the industry, on par with that one chicken restaurant. They are friendly and helpful. The food is always fresh and great quality. Dining room is clean and well maintained. I can speak highly enough of this establishment, especially the staff.

Staff was really nice, they checked on us and see if we needed anything. Periodically. Food was amazing, the establishment was extremely clean and comfortable environment. My kids really enjoyed steak 'n shake this was their second time going they enjoy the retro look.

I got a three piece chicken finger with cheese and a number four with a sprite, when I looked in the bag I had ranch instead of cheese and a water instead of sprite turns out we ended up with the person in front of us meal 2 garclic burgers, a cheeseburger and a kids chicken strips. Mind you they have been waiting for about 7-10 minutes now. To make it even better the bag was soaked with garlic at the bottom!
