On a good note, we had excellent service! Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! She was kind enough to ask the bartender if they could make me a peach Bellini, which they did and it was awesome! Unfortunately, the food was only so-so at best. Our adult grandson was highly disappointed in the carbonara, which contained huge hunks of uncooked bacon. It was as if they chopped it in a stack and failed to separate it while cooking! He ate maybe a quarter of his entree. My husband had the chicken parmigiana and I had the eggplant parmigiana. Ours were decent, but nothing special. We felt the entire meal was overpriced for what we received.

I had the shrimp scampi and it was good, not great. For dessert I had the chocolate bomba and it was fantastic. I've had many meals here and it's always good to great. Good selection of beer and wine, they have hard liquor too. I highly recommend Carmela's.
