Traveling through the area and picked this spot on the map, and I'm so glad we did! Our waitress was helpful and friendly, and the food was phenomenal. If we didn't live 6.5 hours away, we would be there weekly.
My golfing buddy has been raving about this place for a while, so we decided to give it a try. I decided to start my meal with a cup of the clam chowder, which a reviewer on this site had stated was very good. Unfortunately, I did not specify that I wanted a cup and received a bowl instead, which was a meal in itself. The chowder was good but could have used some bacon, potatoes and clams. Met my parents at this off-the-beaten track place near the river, trail and park in downtown Kokomo. Unique restaurant in a historic building (former ice house) so the inside has unique decor- the family side is separated from the bar side by a real rock wall and the logs and brick are also features that remain.
