My wife and I eat there often. It's one of our favorite places to eat in Kokomo. Johnny Mac is the best server in Kokomo (hands down).

I can say that I absolutely love the restaurant windmill Grill in Kokomo the waitress are amazing and food is good, but I not sure I will return. My mother and I are in the restaurant at least 2 or 3 times a week. I was just yelled at by the manager in front of other customers because I have my service animal with me and my mom had picked her service dog up off of the chair. She continued to yell at us after I showed her the ADA law about service animals. She proceeded to yell and say she has told us multiple times, I spoke to her ONCE and showed her the same laws then! It is one thing for her to come up and ask for my mom to put the dog back on the seat, but the yelling in front of a full restaurant is wrong and disrespectful to ALL the customers in the restaurant. I am sure she wouldn’t want someone to do that to her either!
Oh the other manager is amazing and runs this restaurant with dignity, respect and integrity

We had breakfast at lunchtime. Still great meals, and the coffee was hot and fresh.
I like Windmill Grill overall. Their food is rarely excellent or bad, but usually good. The service is consistently good. There’s usually not much of a wait for a table, and our order is usually ready in a reasonable amount of time even when they are busy.

My service dog and I came in as a party of one on 07 July 2024 at 0830. We sat down, then waited over 10 minutes - not a person greeted us or offered us a beverage. The craziest part was there wasnt even 15-20 customers in the store. I firmly believe I was denied service because of my service animal, and will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I asked to speak to the manager, was told they’re not in until 0930? I asked to speak to the owner, was told Kiera the manager is the owner - which is not true. Very shady business practices coming from here, now I see why they have SO many negative reviews spanning back almost a decade almost all saying the same thing - extremely poor customer service/walked out.
What a way to treat a Disabled Handicapped Hoosier Combat Veteran!!! DO BETTER
