Cronies is soo good !! They have Friday fish frys that are soo good, the chef Dj is amazing, the owners Sam & Jen are super sweet. They have specials and serve Vodka Chicken that is soo good !

We had Kronies cater for our wedding of 200 people and the service was absolutely amazing! The food was served piping hot and quick, every table had plates within 10 mins of dinner start time! The servers were so sweet and efficient, and the place settings were beautiful! Each plate was unique, the silverware was beautiful, and they cleaned up everything afterwards! Would absolutely recommend without a doubt!

Great ayce fish. The drinks....you can actually taste the liquor!!! Most places have that computer pour....never enuf liquor. But not at Cronies. You get what you paid for. They are super busy on Fridays around 430 to 530. Had to wait for our food....but it was well worth it. I definitely recommend Cronies in Kouts.

Expensive & Awful. AUCE” means “We-are-Cheap” bringing you only 4 tiny pieces of fish at a time, but with 55 minutes (yes, 55 minutes with waitress walking by us 30 times) waiting in between, what’s the point of ordering more? Truly cheap & awful. Waste of time & money. Stay home.

Ok been here several times now. The food is surprisingly good for an outta the way hole n da wall. The vibe is country laid back, chill. Thank God! So many restaurants in Valpo are fulla pretentious trendsters with beanies, skinny jeans n namebrand everything vaping while they compare their Teslas. Just not my scene. This joint is nonfussy but not dirty or rundown. Prices are reasonable. There's always a core crowd hangin out with a few beers. My guy was luckily here during a live music night n it was fantastic. Service is always welcoming n friendly. I love there is zero smokin here. The only problematic issue we've had is checking out. When the night crowd rolls in and pounds a few rounds it gets a bit raucous, which is obviously expected o a pub. The servers get a bit harried and/or on the nip too, n seem to assume all the patrons are ensconced til closing. We are normally on a date night looking for a decent meal, maybe a cpl drinks, live entertainment a plus n don't want to camp the bar all night.

We needed a central meeting spot for friends and this place came up in our search. We didn't know what to expect but it was great! The great service started when they let us in early because we didn't know they don't open until noon on Sundays. Small but good beer selection. The burger special was really delicious. Will definintely be back.

Beside the fact that she is a brilliant cook, she went above and beyond to curate a lovely menu for our special day. Our guests are still raving about her catering!
