Usually very yummy and fresh, but this visit through the drive thru was slow, the portions stingy, the chicken sandwich (my favorite) was not fresh, was the smallest I've ever had, and wasn't as crispy as I'm used to. The soda was 3/4 ice. A disappointing visit for sure. Update 5/2026: They will not honor coupons because, We updated our system. Sister was given a water instead of a soda even though the coupon deal includes a soda and the receipt shows a soda. Also, the portion size of the fries was 1/2 of what it should be. Lastly an employee parked their car purposely taking up 2 spots and was sitting in the car smoking and listening to music loudly as we left. Very disappointing. We won't go to this Popeyes again. This was the LaPorte location.

Everyone was real cool. Food was good. I get the same thing all the time. Chicken sandwich.. I wouldn't mind waiting for a fresh cooked chicken
Waited 6 minutes for half our order, so what was ready was cold. Really greasy this time. We usually like it.

I was there twice today. Once at 10: 40. I pulled up at the drive-through. The sign says they open at 10:30. A gentleman came to the window and said we won’t be open for another 15 minutes. So I went to Walmart did my shopping. Came back because I really wanted a chicken sandwich. Pulled into the drive-through and they told me it would be at least a 15 minute wait to get an original chicken sandwich and that was at 11:20 Sunday 3/8/26. Disappointed I did not wait.

Whenever I order spicy chicken, it's never ready. They tell you to wait 12 minutes, but you end up waiting for more than 20 minutes. I hope they can fix this problem; it's supposed to be fast food.
