I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! Food, service, atmosphere, decor… all is top tier! It’s perfect for a fancy date night dinner, hanging with friends for a bar night and the outdoor patio is great for a summer hang out. The owner has clearly put her heart and soul along with a lot of time and money into turning this place into I think the best restaurant/bar in at least La Porte and Michigan City and stands toe to toe with Chicago and beyond. Run, don’t walk to this place and enjoy!

Unless you plan on having 4 people or less you apparently can’t eat at the bar table that seats 8. We were told if you have 5 or more you have to sit in the dining section. There wasn’t anybody in this place other than 3 people at the actual bar. If that’s the rule, that’s fine, but why is there 8 chairs at each of the 2 tables in the bar section? I wouldn’t have minded if the lady wasn’t so rude about it but the way she said it was ridiculous. Improve your customer service end of story. Watched another customer just ordering drinks getting pissed off because she couldn’t even get a bartenders attention to serve him.

Great food, good ambience and I love the deck. They also took the time to help me when my car got stuck in the mud. One of the owners and bartenders made it a priority to help me in my time of need. They were so compassionate and caring. Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I were looking for a new “dinner/date” place one of our friends raves about the Saturday night special Prime Rib. We were forewarned to arrive early because they sell out fast so that is exactly what we did. The place is more than meets the eye from the outside. On the inside it is clean and quaint it is very spacious and relaxing nicely put together. We were undecided where to sit it was around 3:30 the place wasn’t crowded so we had a nice look around my husband noticed seating in the bar so we sat in the bar area. We were promptly greeted by I believe maybe the bartender she passed us to the server in the dining room that brought us menus. I said that I was aware we were early for dinner but would like an appetizer and a couple drinks because we were excited about trying the prime rib dinner. The server informed us that the kitchen was under renovation and there was a limited menu unfortunately there would be no prime rib… I understand renovation so we found the Chicken Caesar and I think it was a Philly with pub chips and dip. We shared our meals with each other and ordered more chips and dip my husband also ordered another drink. Our server informed us that she had to leave 5pm so she brought us a check we cashed out then we noticed the table beside us was being served !PRIME RIB! I was not understanding how that happened my husband said “just shrug it off” but honestly I’m not going to lie I was bothered. We now had a different server that was more interested in flirting with a guy sitting at the bar so it was hard to get service. They have a pretty elaborate and fun drink menu but something we usually drink wasn’t on the menu so when our glasses were completely empty and pushed to the edge of our table and the server came over we asked if the bar could make a drink. The server was not sure so she brought us back two glasses of ice and three shots… one shot glass had lipstick on it from the customer before me… I again could not get my server so I took it to the bar.. We were charged full price for three shots whereas a designer martini cost about half the price for a fuller glass… All in all it was an okay disappointment disaster costing only a little over $100 including a $10 tip for the first girl that lied about the prime rib (wish I could get that tip back) and a poor tip for a poor server. In my opinion all the tip should have went to the third server that saw us just sitting and brought us water asking if she could take our order. She caught the grunt of our bad evening and was nice enough to apologize and let a manager know about our non-prime evening…We would have loved to have tried the Prime Rib the bar and servers could have made a lot more money than they did because we don’t put a spending limit on fun. My husband noticed a humidor by the bar instead of more disappointments we cashed out, He stopped at his favorite cigar shop and bought a $45 cigar we finished out the night with cranberry & sprite spritzers for me and quite a few scotches on the rocks for my husband. When life gives you lemons just find another bar with good service and squeeze them in your spritzer.

We really enjoyed our take out meals. I had a few minutes to walk around the place. The remodeling and expansion will be beautiful once completed. There is so much more space, inside and outsude.

Ribs and wrap were drynd Sangria was watered down. Service was good. It's been years since I have been in Waterford, I really like the addition (could use a little more air flow). Will be glad when more bathrooms are installed. The trek to the opposite end of the building for 2 stalls is a long one when navigating through the fireplace room, bar, and game room. Love that it's smoke free. Will go back and try again. So happy to see the place thriving.

Such welcoming and knowlegable servers. For dinner we had one of their most phenomenal burgers and wings. I had a Philly cheese steak sandwich at a prior visit that was also delicious too.

Do not order a Reuben sandwich they put one single thin slice of corned beef on the sandwich - that is not a Reuben; is a nice atmosphere in the summer but they food is mediocre at best.

I’ve been eating at restaurants in the area for a decade when I visit my parents and this place blew me away. Great food and surprisingly cozy interior that doesn’t match the exterior.I had the philly cheese steak and I would 100% go back for it. Others at my table had the wings and the Italian grinder. Everything looked fantastic and sent everyone home with a smile.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch near the fireplace. The hand-battered fried mushrooms were perfect--not frozen mush! We had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the caprese flatbread. Even the pub chips were good! Our server, Rachel was a delight. She and Donovan, the GM went out of their way to make our special occasion memorable. The remodel has produced a cozy, welcoming space . All of the food was super fresh, generously portioned, and nicely presented. I think we just found out new go-to spot!
