I've been a big fan of the nashville hot chicken sandwich for the last few years, but the last two times I've been in, it has been noticeably different. I'm not usually affected by grease but have gotten a severe stomachache from the level of grease on this sandwich the last two times. It also seems burnt these last two times, blackened and dripping in oil. Not what I've experienced in the past, but seems to be the new normal. The mixed drinks are good and the service has always been good. Maybe just don't get the hot chicken sandwich!

Great burgers, fast service
We we in from Chicago visiting Perdue so our hotel recommended coming here
Food was ok and service was extremely slow and the place was not crowded
We ordered pretzels for appetizers and they were burnt, then we ordered our food and it was good. I live in Chicago so prices are high there. I was amazed your cheeseburger was 15.50 but it does not include fries? The fries were an extra 2.50
I’m sorry but this burger and fries are definitely not worth 18.00
I’d only see that if I was at gibbons steak house or Morton’s

Bru burger is nice place to go for lunch or dinner if you're in the area. Just make sure you're not expecting to be blown away by anything other than the house ketchup.
I had a great time celebrating a friend’s low-key birthday here. The food was delicious & the atmosphere was very enjoyable.

Our family loved burgers at Bru! The triple dip appetizer with a delicious goat cheese and sweet topping and the soft pretzels were both a hit. The impossible on GF bun, bison burger, and basic burger were all fantastic. And my kids order of chicken tenders were generous. The fries were all around hot, crispy, and tasty, too. Our server Faith was fantastic. Definitely somewhere we would return on our next trip to Lafayette!

The atmosphere was very nice! We sat outside on a wonderful day so it was perfect. The service and the food were both good. We were sat and served immediately. The presentation of the food is outstanding! It’s easy to see that the chefs and servers care about their profession and the food presentation. It definitely upholds the restaurant to a certain standard which is nice. The food is tasty. A bit greasy but delicious. The sauce they served with the burger was very interesting. I wasn’t able to decide whether I like it or not but it was definitely addicting to eat haha.

Recent trip here was rather disappointing. The breaded, spicy chicken sandwich was so greasy that there was easily a tablespoon of oil on my plate, soaking the bun, and making it nearly impossible to eat. Further, I had heard good things about their onion rings, but they were a big disappointment....too much breading that was raw dough in the inner layers, and not very flavorful. Combine that with waiting several minutes to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant, and we won't be back anytime soon.
Update 2024: I have to say I just had one of the worst burgers in years. The lambburger was small, dry, unflavorful and overly coated with goat cheese. The onion rings were good but nearly a dollar each! Won't be back anytime soon.
