Kid-friendliness: We got a small dish for my two kids to split and it was plenty enough. Serving sizes are decent.

I have been going here for years and one of my favorite things is a large hot fudge Sunday with marshmallows. my wife likes the turtle Sunday. I guess the new owners are getting greedy. both mine and my wife's Sunday were only 1/4 ice cream and 3/4 whipcream. at 5 dollars and some change for a large and 4 dollars and some change for a medium turtle Sunday their going to make a killing. this is a shame. so beware

Amazing- but don’t order the chilli dog if you’re wearing a white shirt

First time customer, everything was great! Two of us dined; got one burger, one loaded tots, one milkshake, and one malt. There is no inside seating, but the name implies that. Will definitely stop by again when in town.

We waited for 25 minutes out in the cold, when we got to the window the staff informed us that there is NO hot food. The grill has been shut off. It was only 5:30 pm. They close at 7:00 pm. Only ice creamor cold items available. There was no sign outside to warn or inform customers that they stopped serving hot food at 5:30 pm.

Good service! The best marshmallow cokes!Today, I not only got my last marshmallow coke of the year, but I also got a complementary death stare from the kid who made it. I get it kid!... they're a pain in the neck to make, and there's no getting around the sticky mess that's inevitable with marshmallow cream. But they're Soooo good! I won't stop going to Budges for this treat, even if you give me 2 dirty looks.

We came by at 7:00 this week, Thursday, told us you were closed. Your website says you close at 8 which is what we thought. There was nothing available!! Better keep an eye on your employees!!

I stumbled upon Budges Drive In and I'm so glad I did. I had an appointment nearby and wasn't familiar with the area, so I brought up Google Maps and searched for restaurants. I liked the look of Budges and their menu. When I got there I noticed it wasn't what I expected for someplace with "Drive In" in their name. There were just a handful of parking spaces and I noticed a small patio with picnic tables. I'm assuming it was a full blown drive in at some point.I perused the menu. I was wanting food, not ice cream. I ordered a cheeseburger meal with their famous fries and a vanilla coke with house made vanilla syrup. I ordered a medium size for the fries and drink and my total was just over $9. I ordered at one window and waited at the other for my food. The staff were very kind and friendly. It didn't take long for my meal to be ready, maybe 5 minutes at most.I'm not much of a french fry person. I'm pretty picky about them. I opted to order them as my side because the menu said they were famous for their seasoned fries. They are the best french fries I've ever had in my life. I'm going to have to return many times for those. The seasoning was perfect and I loved how crispy they were. The menu said the burger patties were seasoned and then cooked. The burger was a great size and I loved the bun. It was definitely a greasy burger, but delicious. There wasn't much grease dripping off. I had lettuce and mayonnaise on my burger. With my first bite I could taste the seasoning on the patty. It was unique...the only taste I recognized was seasoning salt. It was a very good burger. I can't wait to eat there again.

I LOVE this place. I've always been a huge fan of their ice cream. But last time I went there I actually wanted some REAL food. I couldn't decide and a fellow customer recommended the burger. So that's exactly what I ordered. Quite literally one of the best burgers I have had in a LONG time. I can't wait to go back again for another!!

A lovely quaint experience. Throwback to the old school shacks serving food to the teens of the 1960s.

All the people that work there are very nice and their food is good

Historic anachronism where old fashioned ice cream and drive in treats are dispensed... Bring the loved ones...
