If you have a bad experience at a chick fil A, it's you not them guarantee
Fast and friendly Chick-fil-A service will all love. I'm not a fan of the mostly drive-thru/mobile floorplans like this one. Not enough seating and the store itself is soulless and sterile. This location, however, is well run and welcoming. The app was not working on my phone, had maybe a two minute wait to order from their catering manager, I forgot her name, but she was funny and makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Food comes out within a few minutes, they have their stuff together at this location.
My husband and I ordered an 8 grilled nugget meal. Apparently chopped up nuggets (3-4 max) is considered 8 nuggets in their mind. This was my first time coming to this location, since it’s closer and would be a place that I would frequent often, but if this is the type of meals I get here then I might as well keep going to my usual location near Lowe’s. I’m extremely disappointed and now I have to go buy something else to eat to make up for the lack of food.
Big fail Chic-Fil-A. Why spend the money for a new location and not put in a play place for kids? The other location in Lafayette is always busy with families going there. Also, the other location has a more open concept behind the counter, so there is always someone at the counter to greet customers. The new location is closed off and cold/not welcoming, and no one was even at the counter when we walked in. My advice is to spend the money now and renovate the new location, add a play place, and put an opening behind the counter so you can see through to the kitchen. Business would improve.
