This place is one of our favorite Chinese places in town. The egg fu young gravy is the best, the general tzos chicken is so good, and the crab rangoons are delightful! It's a small place, but good food.

Have been coming to China King for four years now and have always enjoyed the food and friendly staff! The Crab Rangoons are my favorite item to get!! Highly recommend!

Oh, my. I really liked this place when it first opened years ago, but it's really went downhill over the years. The quality of the food has decreased tremendously, and the staff is not very nice. Go to pick up a carryout order and they basically throw it at you and want to get back to chatting among themselves, watching TV and act like you've disrupted their lives. When I first frequented this place they were so friendly and the food was much, much better. It's like they've given up and don't care about quality or customer service. Do yourself a favor and skip this one...there are definitely better choices in town. Happy China on the Levee is exponitially better and a little bit less expensive. After reading another review (see below) accompanied by an unsettling photo of a cockroach, I won't be going back. Yuck.

I was wanting dragon and Phoenix so we saw they had it on their menu. We went to try it out we specifically asked for our appetizers to come before entrees but they came after. My wife's seafood combination was very good with lots of seafood and vegetables. I was very disappointed with my dish as I had to hunt for the shrimp inside a combo of onions and peppers. I went to the cashier and expressed my disappointment and pointed to the picture on the wall which showed lots of shrimp. She said she would have to cook make more shrimp and I added it to my dish and it was much better. Not sure we will return and keep going to our favorites. The place is a little dated and could use a refresh. You can see in the pictures before and after of more shrimp.

I called and ordered pork lo mein. The lady that answered was very nice. I was quoted 10 mins and when I got there it was ready. The lady that was there was very nice. The pork lo mein is a solid 4. It was nice and hot. A little over 11$ for a large order. Im not sure if this was their best version, or a busy friday night version but I would order again.

The chicken was fried in fish grease and tastes largely like fish. The egg rolls said they were pork but they were chicken and had an odd texture. Not to mention they are smaller than usual for the same price.
