This was my first experience with D&R catering. I ordered pulled pork, deli sandwiches, fruit salad , salsa and vegetable tray. I should have tasted everything when I picked it up but I didn’t . The pork and the sandwiches were ok but the fruit salad was bad. I had to throw out two bowls, because it had already turned.I called and left a message but have never received any call back.So I would never recommend them to anyone.

Finally they let you inside after way too long. They only offer order by phone but never answer. Once this girl answered so rushed and overworked with a mean "yeah" Who doesn't allow in-store order anymore?? Without an option online. And it's true that they are expensive but it doesn't matter if nobody answers the phone. Some of the people at the store are just as unpleasant.

Alright, if you like home style then you will love it here, very pricey, but overall alright experience, $4.99 for a 1/4 a chicken. Even more for everything else.

The food was good but barely warm and the price is OUTRAGES. I could get the same exact meal with the same portion. At half the price at another place and it hot and delicious there.
We love D&R bbq .. FOOD alone . The service at the counter when you order is awful . I will say we have been there a handful of times when a guy with great energy was working and that was great ! When he is not working the service feels more like you are annoying employees when you order.

Great bbq, corn bread and mac n cheese. Had the bbq pulled pork with a bun and it was very tasty. Dad had the 1/4 chicken with baked beans and corn bread. He also enjoyed his meal. Will return in the future!

Whether you just want to buy a simple meal or a more substantial protein for a larger get-together, reminiscent of large-family get-togethers where the smell of sizzling meat is wafting in the air from a grill, D&R is the place to go. In fact, this is the only place from which I will order barbeque in town. Their smoked chicken is my absolute favourite of all time and a treat.Throughout the years, their barbeque from their smoked brisket, pulled pork, to their chicken has been moist, delectable, and full of flavour -- and consistently so. And, in terms of Thanksgiving (turkey), they offer a few options for preparation that range from smoked to deep fried which are absolutely delicious!Their sides are delicious and pair together nicely to evoke nostalgic images in your head of a hearty, country picnic or some large state or county fair. Friends with whom I have shared their loaded baked-potato salad rave about it. They also make a nice broccoli-slaw salad and pea salad, among other things.Also, their staff are always helpful and patient regardless of how busy their establishment can get.So, if you want a touch of summer tastes in the middle of this bleak and cold winter, you should try getting take out of at least their pulled pork, brisket, or smoked chicken with one or two of their sides. Your cravings and taste buds will thank you. But if you want food that is easy to resist, you waistline may hate you for getting a meal from D&R -- you will not want to put your fork down until every last morsel of food is consumed.
