Good food. Portions are bigger, which is always appreciated. Service is usually good. Highly recommended the fried pickles, jalapeños, and mushrooms. Try them all!Overall, decent place.
My partner and I went to DT Kirby's for a casual date night. For a Friday evening, we were pleased to be seated immediately. Our waitress (didn't catch her name!) was very kind and attentive. She was informative of what beers were in/out of stock. Our appetizer of cheese curds with marinara came out quickly and was a huge portion for the price! Nicely salted, well cooked, and the marinara was tasty. For entrees, my partner ordered the bbq bacon burger and I ordered the italian beef, both with the house made chips. Admittedly we were both a little underwhelmed. His burger lacked flavor, and my italian beef was very very dry despite being served with a side of au jus. I'm not sure if they keep the meat warm in its juices, but by the consistency of my sandwich, I would not assume so. My positive notes are that the house made chips were warm and crispy, and the giardiniera served with the italian beef was deliciously spicy. Overall I give this restaurant a 3.5/5 as the service was quick, our bill was cheap, but overall the food was hit or miss. I would return, but maybe just for apps and drinks. PS their port-a-potty bathroom entrances are adorable!

food sucks was upset with the tenderloin it had mustard on it. didn't even eat it and wasn't aloud to get a knife to cut it in half and wouldn't give me ketchup I had to get on them about giving me ketchup for my fries.

Came here after graduation at Purdue University for an adult beverage. The beverage was probably the worst I have ever had. It was a Rita and the mix was watered down and the alcohol was non existent. The only reason they obtained two stars was the food. We ordered a frycuterie, it was excellent other than being served 1 minute before our main entrée. My other half got a cuban that was dry. I had the bacon grilled cheese, the horseradish was overpowering the whole sandwich. Tater tots and chips we had as our sides were decent. All food was hot but not a place to come if you want a good adult beverage that is not on tap.

This place has went downhill. Went there a week ago and the service was slow due to being understaffed but the waiter did well with us. The food on the other hand was meh. The chicken fingers and fries for our child were burnt and the fried mushrooms were inedible. I contacted them and they don't really care that it was bad and won't respond back anymore. We've been going there since the original location and don't think we will be going back again.

Friday night we made the mistake of coming here following the Purdue game. Our server not only seemed angry at customers for EXISTING, but left us sitting for around 20 minutes before even getting to us. The food was greasy, underwhelming, and cold on arrival. Will not be returning because of the horrible service. Save your time and money
