Awesome experience . Wasn't too loud like some other places I've been, good portionbsizes for the prices. Bacon egg burger was a bit bland for my taste, but the cuban sandwich was excellent and highly recommended.

Great dive bar with awesome food! They have some funny "rules": No mixing Jameson with anything, no cutting sandwiches in 1/2, etc. This place may have the best wings in town, as well!

There’s a rule about not cutting burgers in half that only applies to men, because apparently they want you to unhinge your jaw like a snake to eat it. I’m just leaving a one star review because it doesn’t make sense to go to a restaurant where they give you a 6 inch tall burger with no silverware, and then when you ask for silverware, they insult you. It’s a fine restaurant if you’re into meat, cheese, and pretending that rolling around in burger juice and bbq sauce makes you more of a man. Like it’s cute to put “no cutting burgers” on the menu, but to enforce the rule is a bit much, it was like the servers were just frothing at the mouth waiting for somebody to ask for a knife to eat their tall burger. They gave me a butter knife and gave my boyfriend nothing. Just seems silly for a restaurant to literally tell you no for silverware. I spent $40 on just my meal, the appetizer, and the tip, and they were rude to me.

DT Kirby’s is always a favorite spot downtown Lafayette for great food, drink, and atmosphere! Love the Cubs and Bears theme. Definitely one of my favorite “go-to’s” in Lafayette!

Just left this establishment and soo disappointed. Very busy and we knew it would take awhile for food but when we received our food it was cold, the table next to us food was over cooked and cold. I would not go back

The burger was delicioussss.* Service was fantastic and they were super accommodating to swap out some things to make the burger vegetarian.*This burger is a beast and I could barely finish it. I ended up taking half of it home and enjoyed it for dinner.* We had the lemonade and it was the perfect accompaniment.* The menu has changed from what's in the images here.*They're open until 3am on most nights.* The bathrooms are two porta potties at the rear of the restaurant.* Staff were very friendly and I enjoyed the vibe of the place.* All furniture surfaces are a little greasy but there's a reason they have menu items listed by how many paper towels you're going to need. ?

Let me start by saying, the food here is great. The only reason it's getting a bad review is the service. I have been lied to on more than one occasion by one employee. I leave work and call at around 12-12:30am and get told that they stop taking phone in orders after midnight, which is false considering I've done it before. I show up and order my food at the restaurant where I mention what had happened and the woman behind the counter says she doesn't know who said that and obviously she was lying. Another time I call, this same woman, tells me that the time for the phone in order is up around 2hrs. Granted by this time they would be done serving food. I show up and they aren't busy at all. I felt like calling and telling a manager the next day but I figured I'd let other people know to watch out for one of the woman behind the bar that closes. Don't believe what she says if you're just trying to get some food and go home to relax after a long day at work.

Food is great! I love the mac-n-nap burger!! My only complaints are 1. it's cold espically in the restroom 2. We were sat quickly one visit and sat for approximately 15-20 minutes waiting to order a drink so we just ordered everything we wanted due to the server having issues with having multiple

my wife & I decided to eat here tonight. 1/19. We parked in front of the restaurant as I got out of my vehicle to step up on the sidewalk, I slipped & fell, as the sidewalk in front of the restaurant wasn't completely cleared off. As I proceeded into the establishment, I said something to the smug manager & he laughed & told me that part of the sidewalk was not their responsibility & was the cities. Not an apology or I'm sorry or are you ok. But a laugh & blow it off. Although the food was ok, & the was service was ok, I was not impressed, for the longer I sat & waited on my food, the pain from falling started kicking in. Eric Brady thanks for your crappy service as a manager & I will be seeking an attorney for a lawsuit to see if I may have injured myself. Definitely will not be back to this facility anytime soon
