Our family of 4 enjoyed our meals with the Shrimp and grits being the best meal at the table. Lots of delicious sauce over cheesy grits and shrimp. Shrimp a tad overcooked but sauce was so good. Also, Hanger Steak had a nice flavor and sauce. Butternut squash and Brussels sprouts could be cooked more as they were too crunchy but potatoes were cooked just right. Been wanting to come here for years and finally the timing was right. We sat at the bar and Austin gave several recommendations (Steak Tacos and their soup of the day) that were excellent. The entire experience, food, vibe, and hospitality were top notch. If you haven’t been, go! If you have but not for a while, what are you waiting on?
I stopped here for my Steak Dinner before leaving town. I am glad I did. When my Steak first came out to the table, I was a little nervous that it was cooked too much. The Filet was very good. Cooked to the perfect temperature. The Potatoes were excellent, the Butternut Squash was slightly tough though. The Bread Pudding was very good as well. The waitress did a great job and was really nice. I will definitely go back to this place if I am in Lafayette again.
