Th biggest and best in town if you’re looking for true authentic Mexican food! I’ve been all over the country far and wide to try tacos and in my very home town is the best. Prices are decent if not cheaper than most. Staff is friendly place is always clean.

Hands down the best juiciest biggest (massively huge and oh so good) steak tacos in Lafayette. I don’t know much about the other food as I haven’t tried it. It I can guarantee it’s prob top notch! And for the same price as those little inky dinky steak tacos every other taco place offers.

BEST TACOS IN INDIANA!!!…the steak and tripe tacos are my favorite, every taco gets overloaded with meat (not stingy at all), the meat gets a seasoned and cooked to perfection. I love the fact you get guacamole on top of it. Reminds me of tacos I would always get in Tijuana, Mexico. I tried the torta cubana and al pastor as well and they are amazing. Again full of flavor and very enjoyable. I don’t go to any other taco spot in town. The lady with the glasses that always greets me and attends me very well is very nice and I appreciate the service you give me every time I go. I always leave satisfied. Thank you el Chicano I hope you get blessed with customers for many many years to come. You definitely won a customer with me and my family!

These tacos were hefty. Im a fatty and I struggled to eat all 3. The asada was surprisingly good quality. I expect little cubes or mince but these cuts were almost as chunky as chipotles. The tacos were made to order too so everything was steaming hot, fresh off the grill.
The red salsa had some kick and the green was a bit more mild.
Food could’ve used a pinch more salt or seasoning but overall solid tacos.
Delicious food, my favorite is the chorizo burrito! 🤤 Friendly service and I like the dine-in atmosphere, though seating may be limited at busy times.

Went in for breakfast, when I requested a booth the employee was instantly mad huffing, said it would take 15 extra minutes for a booth(the place was nearly empty) once we were finally sat and she was slamming our waters on the table and was down right nasty towards us we decided it was time to just get up and leave. I am sorry the server was having a bad day, we were not rude to her. Perhaps she should rethink customer service?? We went and gave our business to Panera where the customer service was top notch!

Takes too long to be seated at most times and the food is Bland at times depending on what you order I don't go here often when I do the one thing I like the most is the crepes and the chicken noodle mashed potatoes and biscuit Bowl their prices aren't too bad which keeps me coming back occasionally but it is cheaper to go down the road to Golden Corral for two people it's $22 all you can eat and you have many choices
