They have updated the seating. Food is good.
They now only give you one basket of chips and salsa for free. More costs you $3 a basket which is a steep cost. They need to hurry up the meal in my opinion. If it’s not if front of me, the chops should continue to be free.
Seemed like the margarita wasn’t as strong as in the past.
Still a decent place to go for Mexican.

Used to love el rodeo and hadn’t been there in a while and was shocked when I looked at the menu. Prices were insane, the food was super greasy. The chips and salsa was amazing but super unfortunate that they are not unlimited. Our family of four got a large queso, 2 combo meals chimichanga and taquitos and it was $70.

Tonight, my sister and I went to El Rodeo for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. I chose tree different tacos: carnitas, chorizo and carne asada with cheese and lettuce on corn tortillas. They were AWESOME. My Mexican Mom, God rest her soul, would LOVE them! My sister chose a combo platter with an enchilada, burrito and a tamale. She loved it. We also loved the chips and salsa brought before ordering. I recommend this restaurant.

Food was delicious. Our waitress got our drinks and then sat down at an empty table across the restaurant and played on her phone for 10 minutes while we sat there wanting to order appetizers. Our order came out incorrect and had to be sent back. Not great service. Maybe carry out is a better option.
