My husband, 5 year old daughter and I were passing through Lafayette on our way back to Wisconsin and took a walk downtown. We decided to stop into the local brewery and restaurant but we weren’t impressed with the service or the menu. We walked another couple of blocks and found Kitami and decided to give it a try since we love Yakiniku. I’m so happy we did! Jenny was so friendly and the service was amazing. The food was also so good. Our daughter is a picky eater and ate so much too! The price was also really good for the amount of food we got. We’re so glad we made the decision to stop in.

Presentation of food was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ however, I have it 3 because the meats were so bland. Like no marinade, no salt, no seasonings. Just meat frozen and chopped up. They did give you butter and that almost made it have flavor but it’s not what I expected. I would go back again but not for the Yakiniku.

We had a late lunch. The meal came very fast as we were the only ones at Kitami. I found the crab rangoon a bit sweet but we ate them all. :) I had the yakisoba and it was was great. My companion had a Shrimp bento box and was very happy.
Food taste good but a little over priced. Service is very slow, have our water ready after 40 mins waiting. And we wait about 45 mins to start ordering our food.
