The experience was awful. The two entree’s we ordered were horrid. My wife ordered a pasta with a lemon sauce with shrimp. The sauce was flavorless, the shrimp were rubbery, and exploded with liquid when she bit into one. It tasted as though the shrimp were old, previously frozen and spoiled. She took three bites and was done. I ordered eggplant parm, it came with ziti. The breaded coating was burnt and the eggplant was raw and rubbery, the plate was smothered in mozzarella cheese which hid the poorly plated meal. The portion of ziti was minimal and the sauce was tasteless. I did not eat any of it. I’m wondering if the food was properly cooked!! There should be an inspection done on the kitchen. Please don’t waste your money. We will never go back!!

Very nice they had really good food although because the patio is open a fly will linger in but they took care of it. Would go back.

Excellent service and food! We came in from a hike and they weren’t bothered with our casual attire even though it appeared to be a fancier restaurant. We all loved everything we ate. Prices were fair and food was extremely fresh.

The appetizers and the limoncello cake dessert had issues. The bread was dried out like they tried to warm it in the oven after it was cooked. The cake was a weird mix of flavors that didn’t work. The entrees were great. Most of the desserts were great. My two biggest issues were the atmosphere and food. The chair coverings and art/decor just felt cheap, it was hard to hear and the restaurant wasn’t even full. To spend $200 on five people for basically good entrees and some dessert just seemed like a let down. It felt like it had great potential but it was a let down.

The best word to describe my experience was disappointing. I was expecting more based on other reviews. Service was lacking, atmosphere was meh, and the food was hit or miss. 2 of our 6 people really liked their meals. The rest of the meals were much smaller and not as good as even olive garden.

My husband and I dined at La Scala for the first time last night with a reservation. Service was prompt, food arrived quickly and was fresh, our server was knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant. We both loved everything we ordered! We will definitely be back.

I had the stuffed chicken with risotto. Was delicious. Waitress was very helpful with wine and food selection. Lots of options on the menu. The bread they serve is outstanding.

worst food I’ve ever eaten. My boyfriend and I both took one bite of our food and couldn’t eat anymore. We sent the food back and left and still payed for something we didn’t even eat. We also got completely different things so it’s not like just one item was bad. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND GO HERE!!!!

Restaurantji Recommends
This was an amazing restaurant. I had few complaints, and the food was delicious and the service superb. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful throughout the meal. I had a lovely conversation with her, and she explained all the food in detail. The food was also very good. Mine tasted a bit strange to me, but not in a bad way. Simply something I had never tried. I had the ravioli, and my family members had the seafood special. The cheesecake for desert was also very filling. Very much recommended this restaurant, but note that it might be easier with a reservation in advance.

The food at La Scala is undeniably fresh and expertly prepared. Both the indoor and outdoor ambiance was perfect for an evening meal. We had the cherry and burata as an appetizer which I would definitely recommend, it’s a combination that I really enjoyed. I would also recommend trying the risotto and the seafood, both of which were exceptional. La Scala was a memorable dining experience and will definitely be back.

the food was solid, everything came out nice and hot and all the flavors were there. some of the seafood was a bit overcooked and the risotto was a bit soft as well. the wait staff was very nice so no complaints there. the ambiance and the general feel of the restaurant definitely needs an update/deep clean
